Brittany Forbis Huge Shout Out to Dr. Gardner in Bastrop! He is a family dentist, and he is one of the absolute best! His staff is top notch as well. We called this morning, get an appointment for 2:30, and we were out by 3:30. He removed 2 of my sons wisdom teeth. No anxiety... No pain... Reasonable pricing. I honestly couldnt have predicted a better outcome!

Cindy Shelton Dr Gardner and his staff are wonderful. He’s a great dentist and always puts me at ease. The office and rooms are always decorated nicely. I’ve had fillings, crowns and multiple cleanings and exams with no problems at all! I highly recommend!

Jonathan Freeman The DR there is awesome, immediately started running tests and found out I had strep throat , is getting me into an ENT to find out about the chronic infections and chronic spasms in the right side of my neck/throat, everything is easily accessed through the patient portal, all together a much better experience than I was used to at my previous primary.

wyte choclate I went in to get some temporary crowns put on my teeth. They put them on in October and the temporary came off yesterday (1/9/25). I had an appointment this morning (1/10/25) and Dr. January said "it did not come off yesterday because of the plaque buildup and in order to put them in place I have to clean your teeth." I asked how was it possible and he proceeded to say that he didnt know cuz he does not know when the temporary came off but it couldnt have been yesterday. They wanted me to pay for the cleaning and IF the crowns fit then great but the 2 PREVIOUS times they did not fit when I went in to have the same procedure.

Cree W Hate it it here. The receptionist here is rude and horrible!!!! They made me come all the way up here just to tell me my insurance wasn’t good enough for them. They’ve pushed my appointment back a couple of times and I’ve missed appointments due me and my children health problems and finically issues. They aren’t understanding at all. It’s more so the receptionist the reason I wouldn’t recommend ANY ONE to come here. I was born and raised in Bastrop Louisiana and this man has been my doctors since 7th grade. I’m a 28 year old grad student and wouldnt dare spend my money here bc of the receptionist. Dr. Russell if you do not get new Caring, most of all RESPECTFUL NEW receptionist your are going to loose more patients that’s been with you over ten years like u have. I’m literally never coming back because of your receptionist. Dr. Russell Receptionist ran me off.. NEW RECEPTIONIST I WOULD NOT SPEND MY MONEY WITH DISRESPECTFUL RECEPTIONIST !!!!!!!!!

Charlotte Eberhardt I was there yesterday. I have pretty bad dental issues from a very long span of untreated depression and the new doctor, although obviously young, was extremely confident, skilled and professional. I had a cavity in the front and he made sure his assistant brought him the right color to match my tooth (yellow). Yesterday was the first time in almost 10 years that I felt there is help and hope for my dental situation and that I might be able to start smiling in public again. I had completely abandoned any hope. People judge you by your teeth. They think youre a drug addict or a disgusting person. I never felt judged and I was treated with respect. And, most importantly, I felt heard. highly recommend this clinic now. Theyve got a gem there. -Andrea White

Caress McFarland This place has so much potential. Its clean, nice on the inside, sometimes staff are friendly. However they are missing some aspects of the business like a financial department to ensure they dont get sued. I was getting the run around from my insurance company and the hospital started to give me the run around as well regarding coverage. At this point I feel they dont want to make money since Im looking to pay for my services. If they wait to tell you after the fact you owe money then thats false appropriation. Hopefully misconduct is being investigated to get this place up and running properly. I had a scheduled appointment and I didnt get seen until almost 2 hours later. Now they want me to pay more money when I was told the first appointment I only had to pay $81. If my insurance isnt covering it they should have had that clear on the first appointment not the second one.
