Zach Miller I’ve been seeing Tracy (the owner of this business) for about 8 or 9 years. I’ve moved out of the state and I still visit Tracy for haircuts when I am in town. She is far and away the best stylist I have ever had. Tracy and her colleagues are knowledgeable, kind, efficient, and incredibly skilled. I have referred family and friends to her who have all become steady clients. I would do the same for any person looking for a stylist in Baton Rouge.

Mitzi Hochheiser Love La Belle Coupe and love Tracy, this salon is fantastic. She is amazing and my hair always looks great. I get many compliments on it and it’s all because of Tracy! Her shampoo bowls are the most comfortable I’ve ever been in, the salon is lovely and really makes you feel welcome.

Taylor Grider If you are searching for a place to transform your hair or just boost your serotonin, Yara salon is absolutely where you need to go. The vibe here screams fresh start from the natural light and lush plants in the window to the fun but relaxing music in the background. This place is so wonderful. I started with Justine around a year ago and she has transformed my one note colored hair to color with dimension and depth that still feels and looks natural-per my request! I have been trying to achieve this look for years and Justine did it in less than one year! Her attention to detail is so impressive and she has such an eye for color and sits down with you to discuss the plan so she knows your goals. Justine is so warm and fun to talk with and so is everyone else here! At my last appointment Kendall and Maddie worked together to style my hair and the blowout turned out so pretty and lasted for several days! Some salons can be a little intimidating, but at Yara everyone is so kind and works as a team to create a luxurious, but fun and relaxing appointment for the customer. You can tell everyone is happy here which translates to really great service! All in all 20/10 experience every time!

Erin R. Mura Erica Heagy has been taking care of my hair for the last few months and I can’t say enough great things about her. She has helped to keep my platinum blonde locks fresh and healthy. She is very skilled at what she does and is so personable as well. Having a wonderful hairstylist is great, but having a stylist that you can chit chat and laugh with is even better. I absolutely love the atmosphere at Rush Salon! The overall customer service there completely surpasses other salons I’ve been to in the past.

Emma Jimenez I used to come here to get my hair done but after today I will be seeking a new hair salon. Punctuality is everything to me. I had a scheduled appointment today for 11am. I went to my appointment early ( 5-10 minutes early ) and the door was locked which I said to myself well it’s not 11am yet. At 11:00am I rang the doorbell and nothing, the door was still locked. At 11:05 I rang the doorbell again and nothing. I called twice and it went straight to voicemail. At 11:15am someone came out and opened the door. By that time I was already frustrated and wanted to leave. The girl at the salon argued that she kept the door locked because it was just her and some other client alone in the salon and that she didn’t trust the guy outside that was doing his job trimming the grass? Which was weird for me to hear. I had a scheduled appointment and although she was polite she offered to reschedule the appointment for me….which defeats the purpose of obtaining a scheduled appointment in the first place. I was entertained with the offer of a “quick style,” that would take “10-15 minutes” which again is NOT why I scheduled an appointment in the first place with a “professional hair salon.” I can do a “quick style,” at home for free. The young lady apologized but I was already aggravated. When someone schedules an appointment with your business you have an obligation to be responsible to have that appointment met. Gas is expensive enough as it is.

Dina Chibi I went in for a trim because my ends were so dry and dead. By the end of the cut my hair felt 10 times healthier. I’ve been to other places in BR, and nobody is as nice and does exactly what I ask for like him!

Catherine I started going to Salon Avenue 7 years ago when I moved to Baton Rouge. I had the same hair dresser for years prior to my move. The services I receive are highlights, hair cut and eyebrow waxing. I feel so fortunate to have found Kim. Kim does amazing highlights and cuts! When I leave her salon, I always feel a boost in my confidence. Kim is very dedicated to her work and her clients. This is a family business and her and her daughter are both very sweet and knowledgeable. I 10/10 recommend Salon Avenue.

Christian Holmes I had just moved here from New Orleans and was desperate for a cut. Came across this little gem through word of mouth and I cant recommend this place enough. Nicole does excellent men’s cuts and I will certainly be back. Plenty of services here so it’s really a one stop shop for an entire family. Cut, color, etc they do it all! Excellent customer service and easy booking as well

crystal vela My stylist didn’t book enough time to Do my hair properly and fried my hair and then was asking other stylist how to fix it. My hair wouldn’t even lather nor dry after washing it. The stylist was more worried about being late to whatever he had planned that day wasn’t even going to dry my hair I had to tell him to dry my hair. They told me I could go back in a couple of weeks to bleach it more no thank you. Y’all have already ruined my hair enough. Will never go to that place again.

Henrys Queen Fallon has been my stylist for years now so when she moved to Via Veneto, so did I and Im so glad that I did. Its such a nice open salon, with friendly people and happy stylists. Fallon does excellent work on my hair, my moms hair and now my sisters, too. I love her work. Shes an awesome, professional stylist and a credit to the salon.

Tamara Hankton This is my spot ! I get my hair done here and love Lin. She is very professional and personable. I’m so relaxed when I’m here. Lin is amazing at matching my color every time I come in and my hair is always on point. Lin also does my lash extensions and she’s so gentle that she puts me to sleep every single time. I love coming here because it is peace for the soul. I walk out feeling refreshed and I look great. Jazma does my daughter’s braids and is going to do mine in the coming weeks. She’s is also amazing at her craft ! They both offer services for all types of hair and the both love what they do and take much pride in it. If you’re looking for a salon this is it !

Im transitioning from relaxed back to natural. Its a scary and difficult process. But she listens to your concerns and recommends whats best for you. She is straight forward and to the point.
