Madison Richards Came in to ask for some spooky nails. The shop was very clean and nice folks. I just am not too happy about the quality of my nails but he worked hard on them which I am appreciative of. They were dipped about six times altogether and the black tips were dipped, which gave a grainy quality to overall finish (looking messy). I probably wont be back for more services unfortunately.

Midnight Madness This place is awful! They can’t do nails at all. Acrylic EVERYWHERE, flooded cuticles and skin with acrylic. Left without even allowing them to finish. Came home and filed off the awful job they did. I asked for a specific powder was told they could do it but my nails were so thick then he tried to “fix” it. There was absolutely no way to fix that mess. You are better off getting press on nails than going here

Jessica Rachal I was the first customer today Sept 9..I was not greeted in a welcoming manner. For 43 dollars they could have at least used some lotion..no menu for pedicures. Nothing relaxing about it. I will never go back!

Rebekah Guidry They had us check our temperature to make sure we are not sick before coming in. I really liked that. The did a great job on my gel nails, toes and brows. Very Happy.

Kimberly Briggs Love love love VIP Nails!!! They never disappoint! Just got chrome for the first time and I am in love! My daughter and I both go and we have no complaints ever. The attention to detail is the BEST! They have nice new pedicure chairs and we love it

Mariah Washington Rogers The Older lady did my husband feet and we asked for a clear coat twice for his feet and never received it! I then proceeded to get my nails done and aksed for a design the lady did it and I was satisfied but she took it off did not ask my opinion or anything and I was pissed I will never go back. They got to us immediately as we walked into the establishment but it took forever to receive the services they do a lot of cross contaminating going from client to client not washing hands in between which also cuts into service time!

Debora Baskin The end result was coo but the service and the time it took could definitely use improvement. I spent 3 hours just trying to get a full set and padi. Thank God I had the time and needed to get my nails taken care of. Also I asked a simple question..."Are you going to file down the back of the nail?" That got me an attitude from the nail tech saying hes done this for 17 years and he knows what hes doing! Thanks for making my nails look good however I will NOT be back given the service and the chunk of my day now gone!

Annsia Moton I showed the nail tech a design that I wanted and she did an okay job. My nails were very thick from all of the acrylic that was layered on. There was so much acrylic on my nails that my cuticles were covered in acrylic. The nails could have been shaped better as well.

CeeCee X Love my nails. Love my techs (Annie, Billye & Zach). Every single time I get great results, great colors and great art. The price is reasonable and the atmosphere is exceptional. I will continue to get my nails done here. If you havent been, you really need to have this experience..

Jessica Lowther Staff is so nice! My nail tech even tried to help me order bahn mi from the Vietnamese Market! I live in Pineville, but come to Alec just for this place. They are the best, and also very welcoming, which can be hard to find sometimes.

Amanda Delrie My friends and I love to come here for manicures and pedicures and I usually get my eyebrows waxed as well. The staff are friendly and gentle and always make us look good! The rates are what you would expect in this area and they have a list of different pedicure options, some with special ingredients, hot stones, hot towels, and you can customize your experience. Plenty of selections on polish colors and types like gel or dip. I always love coming here and being pampered. They do a fantastic job and I recommend them to anyone! Update: 9/2024 I love the designs that Chi did on my nails! The ladies stayed late on a Sunday to finish up our pedicures and my eyebrows (which look amazing BTW). I felt bad but they said they really did not mind. They always make us comfortable and do an amazing job.

Zhang Jack I went for my first time a couple of days ago, from the ease of booking an appointment to the incredible service I received to the fact that Tina and Andy were the most maliciously caring nail technicians Ive been to, I just cant speak well enough about this place. My first time but not my last. California Nails appointments are booked through text, they have a ton of colors, all for gel and gel-x which is for hygiene reasons and they even have unique colors like highlighter types and ones that look like glass. Cant wait to come back. I highly recommend California Nails.

A Every time I go here I am never disappointed. I went in yesterday & got chrome for the first time, it came out so cute!! They were super busy (for good reason) but got through everyone quickly. The lady & man who did my nail (I think the owners) were so nice to everyone & obviously very hard working!! Thanks guys!

Tammy Lee Absolutely wonderful!! They take their time and get the job done. I went to another nail place and they just didnt get the service like this place. Its definitely my go too. I get dipped nails and white tip for my feet.

Mia Kennedy Super clean salon prices are very reasonable and pedicure came out really good. Ladies were very friendly and my pedicure was one of the best I had in a while. I am extremely picky but they took really good care of me.

Rebecca Ard Sloppy fast work! Toe nails cut slanted, man acted scared of feet, horrible pedicure! Nails also also Sloppy, in too big of a hurry! No base coat used! Why people keep paying for these services that are not professional, I dont understand! I will not be back here! And I will not recommend this place to anyone! Too many short cuts taken! Also people they are not supposed to use razors on your feet, be careful! Middle finger really jacked up!

Shannon Muldowney don’t mind the toes lol but i’m not from around here but when i come to visit, i go here with my mom. the first time i went, one of the guys doing my nails cut my cuticle to the point it was bleeding and i just went again today and the lady that did my toes didn’t do good at all and as you can see, scrubbed my toe a bit too much to the point i now have to deal with that. don’t recommend tbh

Mashall Sharma Best Nails in Alexandria! 2nd time coming here and always a luxurious experience! First time was with my mother and sister for my engagement party! Was very satisfied then as well! This time I got shellac clear and requested not too much buffing and they did a phenomenal job. Listened to my requests and checked in to see if I was liking it frequently. Even a little arm massage! Lots of color options and lots of massage Pedi chairs. Super quick and also waxed my eyebrows. Was in and out in 30 mins! Very satisfied and will be back when Im in town again!

Renae Normally this is my favorite place to go. Now, not so much. After yesterday I wont be back. Put me in a chair and it took 30 minutes before they ever came to even put water in the bottom. The girl who did my feet must be new because my feet are still as rough as they were when I got there and the owners acting like it was my first time ever going. Never brought me a menu, never asked if I wanted a drink, barely spoke ... had to tell her what color 3 times. Im done.

I have serious social anxiety and rarely get this done as being around people is difficult for me, but I was in dire need for these mangled feet. He allowed me to enjoy the silence, performed an amazingly professional gel nail pedicure, and the service was relaxing. The staff is great, the salon Super Clean, the atmosphere relaxing, and the prices outstanding! I have tried several “newer” salons in the past, but always keep coming back here in the end. Unbeatable. I will continue to return. You will not be disappointed! A+

Nikayla Williams I’ve been coming to this nail shop for months and I’m extremely happy. They care about their customers and the health of their nails. I was a regular getting acrylic fills and they told me when to get a soak off. I have the dip and it’s more natural and healthier for my nails. They know my usual color and keep a clean area.

Samantha Dalke I got round square French tips and when I politely asked for her to re do the line on my pinky because it was jagged she got an attitude. All the lines aren’t even and they’re jagged. Then she got to my thumb nail and you could clearly see that it was crooked and had bumps in it so I asked her to wipe it off. And once she got up she rolled her eyes and said if she wants it so perfect she can do it herself so picky. Literally while pointing at me then walked away. I normally never ask for a detail to get fixed but I did this one time because it’s my senior prom. The color change on my toes went good and the gentleman was very kind that did them.

veronica vangessel Had the best experience here! The friendliest nail salon ive encountered in the area! As soon as I walked in I was greeted! Billy, who did my nails was the nicest man ever! All bc of this experience, I will now be going back every time. It’s hard to find such friendly Nail salon owners these days. The salon is also had such a relaxing vibe.. the music playing and the TVs had vacation gettaways, making me feel like I was on vacation in paradise somewhere. Loved the vibe! Did not feel like I was in Alexandria.

Anastasiia Diedkova Im giving a 2-star review because my dip nails chipped and started falling off 8 days after I had my manicure even though I did not engage in anything that would damage my nails. Next, they nickle and dime you for removing your coticules even though this is a part of EVERY manicure in EVERY decent nail salon. Hence, because I reasonable expected that my cuticles will be taken care of, I did not pay attention until I realized it was too late to remove them. That brings me to my next point, the specialist, Emmy, did not consult me throughout the process (other than the length of my nails and shape) and did a sloppy work, leaving my dip powdered nails looking thick and cheap. Finally and with respect to hospitality, nobody offered me any type of refreshment as they indicate on their website. Even though the salon was not busy during my entire procedure, it appeared as though Emmy wanted to move on very fast to another customer despite the fact that there were other free specialists. My overall impression is that they care more about the numbers and not about the quality of their service. Im very disappointed, I will not be returning to this place and I will definitely not recommend it to anyone.

Shannon Gwinn Rosenfeld I had such a great experience at this nail salon with Chrissy! The place is super clean and really nicely decorated—it just has such a relaxing vibe. Chrissy did both my manicure and pedicure, and she was amazing! My nails turned out perfect, and you can tell she really pays attention to all the little details. Everyone there was super friendly and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. If you’re looking for a nice spot to get your nails done, I definitely recommend this place and Chrissy. I’ll for sure be coming back!

kentonni hall Chrissy is the best nail tech I’ve came across. Very detail oriented, makes sure you get exactly what you want, never have any problems switching it up if that’s what makes YOU happy at the end of the appointment. 10/10 always hits.. NEVER MISSES

Mrs G A little pricey but my daughter love going. It’s a young man she says is the best and her go to for her nails. I got my toes done and it was a little pricey for the regular pedi $50-$55 the lady did good. I did get gel nail so maybe, that is what made it pricey. I also got an eyebrow wax and the man did a great job, I will definitely go back for that. I think I paid around $12-$15.

Ariel Jueschke Let me start by saying that I enjoyed my experience at this salon. The employees were all extremely nice and there was no wait on a Sunday morning. I went for a pedicure and a full set. The pedicure was absolutely amazing. The guy who did it was extremely careful and gentle. Not nicks or cuts on my toes and my heels have never felt smoother. Id give that part 5 ⭐️s. When we moved to my full set, they did an amazing job at being careful and gentle with my nails as well considering I have very damaged cuticles. They checked to make sure I liked the length and shape multiple times, which was nice. I do have to knock off two stars as the quality of the ombre isnt as good as I would have liked. The acrylic application is messy and the details look a bit rushed. The shape of the nails is not precise and consistent at the ends. I feel that this salon deserves a chance to build clientele and perfect the craft. I look forward to going again and giving the nail art side another chance.
