Jasmine Philpot I should’ve done more research, but as a desperate visitor with a broken nail I didn’t know better. I come from a big city where my standard of nail care is high. I came and they were quick to accommodate and had a high potent soak off method. The lady who started with me did not transition me properly to another older lady. The older woman rushed my nails and could not take my requests well. She looked up agitated each time I even asked a question. My nails were uneven, the dip powder spilled over my cuticle, she didn’t cover my whole nail, nor did she shape them properly. A positive was that she was gentle, but her she work was sloppy at best. She had an attitude checking me out, when I got out of the dark salon and got in the car I noticed more issues so I returned. The older woman disregarded me. I was passed to someone working on someone else and after being there for 1.5 hours and having such a poor outcome I got antsy. ANOTHER girl starts and uses the electric nail file to go around the cuticle. Nice and patient but also backwards. She ended up filing all of my nails when we were supposed to fix 2. Then we redipped. Then filed again and filed them thin. She also gashed my dip so it was uneven and didn’t fix it until I suggested. She didn’t cover my whole mail with activator. She did use a higher quality of products. The nails aren’t horrible from a distance but up close it’s not high quality. They all spoke about me in Vietnamese. I would not recommend.

Danielle Robinson The young girl with the 2 tone hair color refused to do my nails because I didnt want her to drill my nail bits down, she told her crew, in her native tounge not to do my nails. The young boy who speak fluent English did my toes he was nice

Tyler Jameson This experience was a complete nightmare! I went to get a mani/pedi and the young guy took me immediately and sat me down. After he started the service he pulled out the cheese grater and started working on my feet however it started hurting I told him he was hurting me and he said I just have sensitive skin. Then he started putting a bunch of liquids on my feet and I told him my feet were burning and he said he used a new blade and may have cut me a little bit not to worry. He stated that my feet would be a little sore but just wait a little before my next pedicure when I got out the chair I almost fell before I couldn’t put pressure on my foot. When I got home I flipped my foot back to see that I wasn’t cut just “a little bit” bro too chunks out the bottom of my feet and I had to go to urgent care because my foot in photo attached had gotten infected. Now I’m on doctor orders to stay home from work 3 days and not walk. 10/10 don’t recommend.

Ashiyah Polk I came here 2 weeks ago & I was not happy with my services. I decided to give them another try after a mutual told me to specifically make an appointment with Hai. I love my nails & service was great! I also got my 3 year old’s nails and toes done. He was great & patient with us

Sarah Phillips This is my go to place. I’ve been to several other nail salons (bc on vacation or bc this location is closed on Monday) and I regret it every time. I went to another salon nearby when this location was closed and the nail tech drilled my nail bed so far down. It was horrible. I went back to Lashe and they took so much time to explain how to get my nail bed heathy again. We decided on dip and I’m so glad we did. The attention to detail and care put in by each nail tech is great. I’m done going to other locations, this one is tried and true.

Jerome Bender Rushed and sloppy. The girl who did my nails was tacky. Every time she painted a nail she threw my hand back at me. I have been to many places and I could see how lumpy and uneven my polish was. She also kept filing my skin not the nail because she was sooo rushed! Putting on extra coats of polish is not going to hide the icky job. I’m giving 2 stars only because the other lady there was patient and said I could come back when I had time. I wish I had her do my nails not the cranky rush through this lady.

Rachel Gomez I frequent here because they accommodate you with timing however, yesterday I had the owner do my nails and let’s begin with the fact that she wasn’t the friendliest. No hello no personality no anything. As an owner of a company, which I am, one should be welcoming and friendly. Maybe she was having a bad day! I went on to get a full set and when asked what color I was questioned after I stated the two colors I wanted. The nail polish i had before (red) wasn’t fully removed and nails aren’t fully covered. This is a half done job. Then to make matters worst, this is what I came home to. I felt like I couldn’t speak up because of the attitude she was giving me. I’m writing this review to make others aware of the service and attitude she provides. Note to self- I’ll never be going back there again.

Kayla Hurst I absolutely loved this place. They were professional and very warm and welcoming. My nail tech was Brit, and she was such a delightful person. I had a lot of anxiety as I normally do when I go into nail salons or other kinds of salons. I always feel like people are judging me or don’t think I’m good enough to be there. Brit made me feel like I was part of the fam, and she did my nails EXACTLY how I wanted them. I can’t wait to make this my home base and continue to share their awesome work here. They also have amenities like water, wine, and of course coffee! The other part I love is that it’s a black owned and operated salon so not only am I supporting a local business in my neighborhood, but I’m also supporting a black owned business that is inclusive and open to everyone especially having been marginalized and discriminated against severely in the salon sector. I’ve seen some reviews about availability and wait times which I understand. But they are still growing and need our support. The more consistent clients they have the more they can expand and accommodate more people. So keep supporting this business!

Marie. Spree Nola Nail Cafe is such a relaxing and welcoming environment. I’m always offered a beverage. The staff are so professional, nice, and they work so well as a team. They provide excellent service within a timely manner. My nail set I had lasted a month with no breaks, cracks, or lifts. I am so happy I found this nail shop! Nola Nail Cafe is definitely my permanent nail shop now!

Queendom Aesthetics Today I received a manicure and pedicure from Brittany. This was my first time at Nola Nail Cafe. I would highly recommend to my family a friends. I had a glass of wine during my service. The place was clean & professionally ran. My nail tech was informative and effective with my services. The owner was there and was the one that actually gave me my wine. I will be back regularly!

Heidi deLaunay Got the new GEL X nails here and they are perfection. Long lasting and they never chip or break. Also light feeling. Love them. Worth the extra cost. They lasted 1 month!! Only had to redo bc it grew out too much.

Kiara Davis Ive been going to iNails since December and have been overall pleased with my experiences. Ive always been an acrylic girl but they suggested I try gel x extensions which I have been liking. All the nail techs are friendly and work efficiently. I have liked the sets that Ive gotten by different techs, but I can definitely tell which techs have more experience/are into the social media trends. If you are looking for a specific design I suggest you call the shop vs booking online. The shop is clean and super cute! Highly recommend.

Karen Evanoski Johnny is the best- well actually everyone is top notch at iNails. They work their magic on my nails every time. They also have the best selection of OPI gel and dip colors. They are friendly and appreciate their customers. Rare find. Highly recommend.

Veronica Royal Absolutely loved my experience at this nail salon! The staff were so welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked in. My nail tech took her time, paid attention to every little detail, and made sure I was happy every step of the way. The place was super clean, relaxing, and had a really nice vibe. My nails came out perfect—exactly what I wanted. I’ve gotten so many compliments already! Definitely found my go-to spot.

Fibi N Decor is a bit dated however the owner is friendly and welcoming. She brought us mimosas. I had a gel pedicure and my friend got a spa package for a mani, pedi and massage. Their prices are reasonable. I enjoyed my pedicure and my feet looked great when she was done. We were able to book a same day appointment, which is a big plus as we were only visiting for a few days. The salon is a short ride from the french quarter.

Katherine Porter Booked the Mani-Pedi and Blowout before my friend’s wedding. Staff were friendly, took their time, and my nails looked perfect. The blowout held all night—even in New Orleans humidity. Would absolutely come back for another pre-event glam day!

Cindy Haynie Absolutely the worst nail salon I have been to! The lady that did my toes was rough and rude and my toes are all swollen and sore. The other lady that did my nails was also terrible and cut my nails so short and the powder dip is all uneven and uneven.the place is dirty also so beware and stay away from this nasty place!

Mika Posthumus-Meyjes I had the least painful brazilian of my life and overall such a great experience with Courtney (she is also just super lovely as a person) and Theresa (also lovely) left me feeling relaxed and beautiful after my pedi! I highly recommend!

Nolabrooke Always a pleasure to have a pedicure here. The space is pretty and clean. The ladies are attentive, friendly, and eager to please. Highly recommend!

Nobuhle I love this nail salon, the decor has an upscale feel, yet the owner and staff our very down to earth. I especially loved that it wasnt noisy like some salons tend to be, and the price was reasonable. Ill definitely be returning.❤️

Brenna Elaine my favorite nail place in New Orleans! Have been getting dip every 2 weeks for the past 5 years. This place has the best color options I’ve ever seen. :) and my first time doing a design on my nails- they turned out so cute!! Friendly staff and SO fast every time. Thank you

Priyanka Patel Went in randomly and they look me in so quickly did not even have to wait. Everyone was so fast and helpful. I went in for an ombre acrylic service and they delivered! Came out exactly how I wanted and all the nail techs were so sweet and helpful. Definitely will be returning when back in town.

Andrea Noblezada This place should be Closed! I asked for dip but they put acrylic instead. They said dip and powder are just the same and it did not make sense. Obviously I have dip nails and the guy insisting that they’re going to put refill and I have to tell them over and over again that its a dip nail. I have to tell him step by step what to do. I even have to request to soak my nails so my dip will completely taken out of my nails. In the end i asked him to file it more since its thick and my nails looks so weird. I think he gotten upset that I have to walk him through it. It’s so thick that my nails feel so uncomfortable Kudos to the manager. She was really nice

Jack Attack5678 Inside is better than outside. Felt ignored and being passed on from person to person just because I didnt get a set. They are nice but everyone just talks around you. I kept having to repeat what I wanted because they werent pay attention to me. Not terrible place but not the best.

Stephanie Haranczyk Randomly decided to pop in to this shop and get my previous gel x removed along with a fresh set. I am so happy with the results. Vivi gave me exactly what I was looking for and asked for and she exceeded my expectations. I am very happy with the end results of my new set!!!

Kayla Thibodeaux When we walked in, we were greeted and promptly seated. We were asked if we wanted water and began to soak our feet. The tech began to do the basic cutting nails etc but never asked what package I wanted to with. So, I ended up with just a basic pedicure. I don’t do any polish but I really enjoy the massaging and nail cleanup. Next thing I know we are done. There was no paraffin wax or Hot stones or anything offered. Then i get a ticket for $65. Def not worth it. Lastly, there was a customer next to me who was talking loudly on the phone using offensive language for about 30 minutes during the service. It was really basic and not the experience I was hoping for.

Shelita Godfrey Scheduled an appointment, waited a total of 43 mins. after MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT to be advised that they were unable to accommodate me at my scheduled appointment time, due to Nail Spa 27 over booking. Very pricy, however 1 tech provides decent work. Any who, never book an appointment because unless you are snappy and aggressive, they will not commit to it/ I have seen this a countless number of times, not sure why appointments even exist!

Dynysty AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! I USUALLY HAVE A REGULAR NAIL TECH AND TAKES MIN 3 HOURS AND I AM SUPER PARTICULAR… NEEDED NAIL DONE IMMEDIATELY AND THEY TOOK ME AND DID THE BEST NAILS IMAGINABLE!!! I COULN’T BELIEVE HOW FAST THERE WERE, IT WAS JUST OVER AN HOUR…. THAT NEVER HAPPENS SO I WAS SHOCKED…. WAS VISITING BE NOW HOPE TO FIND A NAIL TECH AS GOOD AS THEM…

Penda Smith Wonderful experience here! I had someone named Ken who was extremely professional, kind, fast and did a wonderful job with my pedicure. I will definitely be coming back here! The ambiance is also quite beautiful and soon as you sit down, people ask if you want anything to drink. I also had a great conversation with Sophia who was so delightful. Highly recommend them!

Brandi Barnes I went in this morning for a soak off and new full set after a terrible experience at another salon earlier this morning. A young man got me set up for my nails to soak off and quickly had me seated me with Viet, for my full set. I explained to him what I wasn’t happy with about the set I had just gotten and that the other salon was not able to correct for me. I explained what I was wanting and showed him what I had received. He agreed with me that what I had received was definitely not what I had asked for and assured me he could accommodate what I was asking for. He was quick, polite, and even stopped a few times to ask if I liked the work or if there was anything that I would like changed. His work was wonderful and his people skills are top-tier! Will definitely be back….. pics below, the pink is what I got at the other salon… the French tips are viet’s work. I asked for a medium length almond with French tips…(we never made it to the French tips with the first one lol)

Sara Zaldívar Don’t go!!! The guy is thin and has tattoos all over his arms. If I could give 0 stars I would. My daughter has tiny nail beds and he was using a size 20 brush. You might not know but that is a huge brush that will carry too much product onto your nails. That exactly what caused her nails look like globes, look at the thumbs. The nails weren’t filed correctly look at the middle nail on the right tip, uneven. Nail polish application was terrible look at the nails that are different oranges. The difference in amount of polish also caused difference in texture.

Brittany Renee Perry My pinky sculpted nail popped off right when I arrived for honeymoon and bday events so I had to get this nail fixed. I’m back in the morning to get the other pinky swirl done exactly the same cause it was so excellently done! And super quick ..20min

Brandi Barnes Went in on Thursday 2/27 with my teenage daughter for 2 full sets. I requested a medium length almond with French tips and my daughter just a short square with white powder…my nails were a complete stiletto instead of almond so rather than waiting until she finished I pointed out I did not like the shape and wanted almond not stiletto. The girl tried to fix it but had already made them too skinny to be corrected…. I asked to just top coat them or take them off because I was not happy and would end up having to get them removed. My daughters ended up sloppy and just overall terrible work. I understand she is a teenager however the rate is the same as an adult and should receive the same respect, attention, and quality. I requested the number for the owner, Emma before leaving the shop because we were so dissatisfied. Upon speaking with Emma, she asked me to come in Saturday morning to have them fixed -I mentioned to her I thought they would have to be redone, it wasn’t fixable. Fast forward she showed up 20 minutes later than our agreed upon time to try to rectify the situation…. Rather than redoing them, she attempted to apply another layer of acrylic to make a quick fix out of the situation which I made clear I was not thrilled with and requested a refund. The owner spoke with a sarcastic and sometimes just flat out rude tone and was unwilling to redo the work and instead refunded the portion for my nails only since my daughter was so unhappy she wouldn’t even return to let them try to fix it…I was told my nails beds were the problem—however I went to Cindy’s nails on Carrollton down the street and was more than satisfied . The work was 1000x better and was even less expensive. Last pic with French tip is work from Cindy’s nails, not mlv!!!

Tanara Bazanac Good job on the nails. However do not go at 930am when they say that they open. I waited until 950am for someone to arrive. Once they arrived I then had to wait for them to get settled in. My suggestion is to change the hours to open at 10am so customers are not waiting outside.

Sunflowa Martin My experience this time with Hailey was wonderful. She handled with care + concern. She was open to my needs + request while she was servicing me. Asking questions and giving sweet little compliments. Making conversation. My nail beds are small + usually other nail techs have my nails big and bulky. Though she has my nails looking cute + like they belong on my hand. I appreciate her time + patience with my refill/pedicure + with me. I will, moving forward, request for her.

Taylor Shields Alison’s Nail Salon was amazing! I broke two of my nails yesterday and I had a wedding to go to today. So I went to three different locations and they all told me they couldn’t take me. Until finally I got to Allison’s and they took me with such care. She was originally going to just fix the two nails, but I loved the service so much that I decided I would fill a full set. She asked me along the way with what I liked when I didn’t like and made my stressful experience, really comfortable. They were so kind and do a really great job. People mentioned before it’s not a top-of-the-line salon, but it is clean and they are efficient. It is worth checking out.
