Ashling Bailey Dentist was very, very rude about me having some slight anxiety and also making small noises while he was pulling my teeth out of my head, like it isnt a normal thing for someone to do. He said he "gave me enough anesthetic for four people so he didnt know what I wanted him to do" when I hadnt said anything about it. Just reacted to extreme pressure and some pain. He told me to go somewhere else that did sedation next time. Well, I certainly will be going somewhere else. He also gave me medication that reacts with other medication Im on, so I cannot take it. Everyone else was nice, but that isnt enough for me to have to deal with that man again. Sad.

Christina McBride If I could give no stars, I would. I took my handicap sister in law here for some dental work. She is crippled and can NOT walk. She can transfer from to wheelchair to table. They tried to put us in a corner room that I couldnt get her wheelchair into. They got very upset because she couldnt walk to the dental chair. I then explained that if they had a chair that I could get her wheelchair next to, it wouldnt be a problem for her. They refused to see her. What kind of place takes medicaid patients and is NOT handicap accessible. Then, it was a horrible experience to be reimbursed for services not rendered.

brittany norick Breanna was amazing she was the tech who took care of me, my X-rays and took care of the front all by herself... The main Dr. Who runs the place was an absolute joke! The way she spoke to and handled her employees was so unprofessional and degrading rather than check on patients she chose to spend that time making her employee feel so small it makes me want to never come back. Spend the extra $60 difference and go somewhere else. Support good bosses and good companies who value their employees.

sankalpa studio I’m 40 and have never had a tooth pulled prior to today. I cannot say ENOUGH about how much I adore this couple! They put me completely at ease. Spoke very encouragingly through the cleaning, filling and extraction. I will forever see them a long as they are in business!

It felt like I was talking to a couple that I’ve known my entire life. I went in yesterday emotional and in terrible pain. Dr. Hensel and his lovely wife took their time with me and basically acted like I was family. I can’t thank them enough for the services and the way they treated me. I literally can’t wait to go back to them and I would recommend me them to anyone! I love them!!!

KG Spent $1200 on a front tooth root canal. the post and core ended up coming almost a week later. It was "fixed" a second time after waiting a couple of weeks only to come out again a few days after. I was told there was nothing that could be done if it fell out again; Ive been stuck for 6 months with no front tooth and have to get the root extracted. Waste of time and money.

Contacted them for two days and finally had to make an appearance just to get it but the dates are screwed up. Theres no above and beyond anything here from my experience. If I could give zero stars I would. Theyre in it for the money. Please stay away for your sake.

Kristen Franklin Only giving a 2 rating because past experiences have been okay. However, I’m not too pleased with the experience I had today with the 2 members of the staff. It should not be a difficult process to receive a doctor’s excuse. However, for my husband it has been a multi day process. I was told I would receive an email with an update of excuse. However didn’t receive that today either. As a family we will not choose this office again for future needs. I have never had such a negative experience at a dentist office before. Edit: 10/16/24 As you can see the response from the owner below. This disappointing experience was not even attempted to be made right or even an apology for the poor experience with a blurb of how they strive for quality patient service. Very disappointed.

Annslee Perego I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Levy. He and his nursing staff were kind and comforting the entire time from the consultation all the way through the surgery. He was timely and efficient, but not rushed. He is also very personable and his nurse is as sweet as can be. During the consultation he gave me a packet and explained its contents. The packet was a step-by-step on how to have the best recovery process possible. By giving me the packet along with prescriptions before the day of the surgery I was able to get my medicine filled and ready beforehand. He also had me take anxiety medication before the extraction which helped me to stay calm and not get too nervous. Overall Dr. Levy focuses on the patients entire experience and even checked up on me on the days following the extraction. Couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Wendy perego My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Levy this week. We had a very good experience from start to finish. The consultation was done efficiently & surgery was scheduled in no time. We were given well written, thorough instructions on what to expect and how to prepare. The day of the extraction, she was taken in right away with no waiting. The staff is warm and kind. Dr. Levy has a wonderful bed side manor and you know you are in good hands. The extraction went without any complications and we were home before we knew it. I was able to have prescriptions filled the day before, making surgery day much more smooth. Dr. Levy gave us step by step instructions for the first few days. I wish everyone had these. It made her recovery pain free and quick. I appreciate all that Dr. Levy and his staff do to prepare you and take care of you before, during, and after the procedure - as he has checked in on us throughout her recovery. He genuinely cares about his patients and a great outcome is his priority. I am so glad we chose Acadian!

Amber Firmin I would not recommend this office if you want to be completely out for oral surgery. I asked multiple times if I would be out completely and not feel everything as it was being done. They told me over and over that would be the case. Until I was on the table getting ready to have the surgery that is. Thats when I was informed that I would have something called conscious sedation. And it was worthless. I went to have 3 teeth removed and of course they started with the one that hadnt even begun to give me trouble and avoided the 2 that absolutely needed pulling. I felt everything and screamed begging for them to stop that I was not numb. All they did was ignore me and went to ask my fiance if I had past mental issues. Which I do not. Then proceeded to tell us that it was too dangerous to proceed and charged us $900 to have that awful experience.

Dark Angel Gaming Dr. Honey was very nice and so was her staff the first time I went to see her. She was straight to the point and explained what she would do to help me when I found out what happened after I got a tooth filled and I was very grateful for her help. And Cenla Dentistry is the only place I called during this time that was able to get me an appointment the same week while other places I tried wanted to put me on a waiting list till next year or wasnt taking new patients even though I tried to explain how badly I needed a dentist and how worried I was. I cant wait for my appointment and have another great experience at a dentistry that cares for their patients. Also if someone can answer a question I have. Does Cenla Dentistry offer a payment plan? I dont get paid much and Im willing to do a payment plan so Im able to still pay my bills and rent

John Vanderwater I can not begin to describe how awesome the people at Cenla Dentistry are. First I would like to say how horrible I am at being able to keep appointments and I have had to reschedule them often. When I do reschedule there are no undertones of disappointment or any snarky remarks and Im told that its not a problem. I am simply asked what day/time would be good for me and the reschedule it. Secondly, I would like to add that all the employees and my dentist there are some of the nicest ,most professional, and curteous people that Ive ever met. Youre always greeted with a smile and since Ive been going there for about 4 years, they talk to me as if Im a friend and seem to have a genuine interest in what Im doing and what Ive been up to. Id also like to add the most important part (you know, save the best for last). Shes a FABULOUS dentist. After she takes the X-rays of your teeth she tells you whats going on with your teeth. She explains to you everything (if anything) that needs to be done. She will tell you if anything can wait and does not try to push you into anything you dont need. Shes very charismatic and easy to talk to. When she does my procedures she always asks me how comfortable I am and if Im not comfortable, she simply asks me what she can do to fix it. I can also honestly say that Ive never met a more professional person. Anytime someone asks me about a dentist its her that I refer to them and its for good reason. She does awesome work, is a delight to be around, her prices are more than reasonable, and you get service with a smile.

Blaque Jaded Butterfly I have to admit that Dr. Honey and her staff are great people. She is willing to work with you on your bill. My children love her and I recently had to have tooth pulled and I have to admit that the experience was not as painful as I thought it would be. After our next visit I am hoping to regain my smile with getting braces. I am glad that I took a chance and went here for our dentistry needs.

Holy Rolling My Two front teeth were chipped. Dr. Kim who is Dr. Chapman daughter is my new Dentist. I felt so comfortable and relaxed there. Stephanie Robinson I am ready to tell my story… This man was a monster to me. I informed him of my past with the wisdom tooth. Told him it was on the nerve and asked if he could get it done with hitting the nerve. He assured me it was very much a doable procedure. In the chair he yanked pulled just manhandled me while I was in no position to walk out the stage of the procedure he was at (open cut blood gushing stage). I am crying so bad the worker came to hold my hand (I pray her life is amazing). He yelled at me for moving from the pain and belittled me for an offense he accused me of doing. He pulled until something popped. Everything stopped lightening was felt through my face. I was still… I was in shock… they finished. I left. My face has not moved in an area since. My face pops when I chew. I have pains. He does not deserve to still practice. I did confront him during my next appoint to which he offered the general I am sorry you felt that way. I never returned. Surgery was 12-18-18 if you don’t believe me. I had to tell my truth. Dr. Mike Levy With that I am clear

Teresa Green Man…….. extractions were great! 12,000$ for that plus 2 bones filed down. Waited 4 months for healing to go get dentures and dentures Dr says the bones are in the way. They were never filed! What a waste of pain and money. I wanted to give a great review, cuz the staff is super friendly, but with that much money and X-rays and reasoning of what future plan was, him with all his experience should have know those bones had to be filed. I even told him. All extractions and 2 bones filed down.

John Tompkins Dr. Jackson and his staff are incredible. The staff made her experience not only easy, but enjoyable. They make you feel like family here and everything is done with the highest of quality and time efficiency. They even helped my family with a payment plan that worked to help provide my daughter with a perfect smile at a manageable price. Hannah Jordan Do your research. Strange that a business that’s been in operation for decades only has a few reviews…. What happened? I was a patient of Dr. Jackson (the father) as an adolescent many years ago, because his business was “the place” to go. He seemed nice and I had my teeth straightened, his son (younger Dr. Jackson) gave me the creeps…. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until adulthood that I realized the issues which have been a result of the orthodontic work. Things such as permanent retainer problems because they don’t tell you it’s actually a fixed retainer that eventually needs to come out or how the twisted metal type can cause dental problems, along with midline discrepancy, tongue crowding, airway restriction, and TMJ. All alterations done to me as a child. If I could go back in time, I would’ve sought out other services with what I know now. Sure my teeth “looked good”, but everything that I realized was a result of the orthodontics work done by this business, which seemed more like a factory getting kids in and out, I wish I had been more aware and educated then. Please do your research before trusting others with your teeth. Sometimes the damage is irreversible.

Sandie Buller I cannot speak more highly of the care and skill my family received at Dr. Jacksons office over the past few decades. My husband saw Dr. Jack when he was a teenager for braces and speaks so highly of the kind, caring gentleman Dr. Jack was and how good of a job he did in taking care of my husbands numerous mouth/teeth issues. As luck would have it, he passed those same issues down to our daughters. When our dentist started recommending we see an orthodontist, they recommended Dr. Jacks son, Dr. Trey Jackson. I was impressed after doing my research with the knowledge and plan of care Dr. Trey had for each of my daughters individual and unique orthodontic needs. Other orthodontists in the area suggested putting braces on my girls as early as 9 years old. Dr. Trey would not do that as he wanted to wait until they were at the best possible time for them individually to get the best possible results for them. Dr. Trey knows his stuff and helped one of daughters fix some major issues she was struggling with as well and gave them all beautiful smiles now! The techs in his office are also gentle, friendly and always make something that would seem not fun- fun! My girls always leave smiling. I was very impressed with the office staff at his office as well. You dont have to wait forever like a lot of offices, they are so helpful and kind and work with you for scheduling. So do your research because you will find the decades of experience, knowledge and skill at Dr. Jacksons office the best place and care for your family!

cephus I`ve had this bad tooth in my mouth since last year(2020), but covid-19 prevented me for services. The tooth site started to hurt and i needed a dentist immediately but all other dentist office had to schedule me for a later day. I went on-line to google local dentist and found Dr, Thompson j Norman DDS on 2238 worley dr. alexandria, la 71301. He`s located behind the alexandria mall or jc penney. The receptionist told me if i can get there soon, she may be able to schedule me in that same day. It was late that afternoon. Finally things started to work for me. I was surprise how extraordinary Dr Thompson and his staff was. They were very friendly, caring and professional which is hard to find these days. I would definitely recommend Dr.Thompson and his staff for your dental needs.

Patricia Kostantaras I have had an uncomfortable experience in Dr. Hilburns office. The second day of visiting his office for an implant, I noticed some of the tools he was supposed to use in my mouth were not clean. I politely mentioned that to one of the ladies working there, since I didnt want to make him feel bad. It seems that Dr. Hilburn didnt like to hear that from a patient (me), for he was dry/cold with me from that moment on! (Not that he was the nicest guy before that either!). After those first visits, I have been in his office a few more times. Every time he was uncommunicative and seemed annoyed. Since I always give people the benefit of the doubt (maybe he had a bad day that day?), I didnt take it personally and kept being visited by him. Yesterday, I had an appointment for a filling. But also he checked the bite of the implant I had done there a while ago. I had never heard of a dentist polishing a tooth regularly in order to adjust whatever it is he needed to adjust. But I respected his decision, since he is the professional. Given my curiosity and desire to learn, I asked him why it was necessary to do so. And instead of explaining it to me in a polite way. He pretty much snapped at me with a short explanation of someone that wants to make someone feel like an idiot. NOt cool. I think Dr. Hilburn is a good dentist, but definitely not the best. As a patient, I have always felt rushed while being visited. He does things quickly because he is dealing with other patients simultaneously, or needs to rush to the next! And P.S.: My parents, in-laws and other people I know have never heard of polishing implants... In short, maybe Dr. Hilburn is too arrogant and feels bedside manners arent important. But for most people that is a sign of the quality of the person and professional you are. I wish him luck and hope his business goes well. He is definitely not going to see me around again!

I walked into Dr. Seilers office by chance, and am quite happy I did. Dr. Seiler saw me right away, talked with me about my options, listened to my feedback and let me make the decision about my care. Dr. Seiler is kind, personable, and honest. I didnt walk out the door without giving him a hug for my gratitude of his and his assistant Anns great work. When I move to Alexandria, my family and I will be going to Dr. Seiler.

Brent Ainsworth I live in Texas, and have never met Dr. Seiler, or been to his office. I am writing this review, as I cannot find an email address to personally thank him. My father is nearing the end of his life, and is incapacitated. In addition to the other troubles he is experiencing, his mouth was also giving him issues, and he found it hard to eat. Dr. Seiler was kind enough to visit him at his house, and modify his dentures with a Dremel tool. His dentures now fit much better, and he can chew once again. I dont know of many dentists that would do this nowadays. I think it is a great expression the character of Dr. Seiler. He didnt have to drive to Tioga, but he did. Id like to thank him very much for this selfless act, and let him know how much my family, and I appreciate him. Hed be my dentist if I lived in the Cenla area. THANK YOU DR. SEILER!!

Shelby Lauren I am probably the biggest baby when it comes to dental work you’ll ever meet. After being forced by pain in my teeth to get the root canals, I saw this dentist. ( Kurt gauthier) he’s amazing! No dentist is cheap, and I wouldn’t go see anyone but him. I fully trust them, it was easy and I have started going back to have more teeth fixed by him. I would recommend him any day!
