Marjorie Ambrose I have been with this company for three years. Before Ida, Danielle was always looking for the best price for homeowners insurance while also looking at a reputable company that could handle hurricane claims if such a need arose. Last year, she emphasized the cost of wood was going up, so I needed to increase coverage. The homeowners rate went up, but she emphasized I needed to accept the increase so that I would be fully covered. Well, Ida happened on August 29, 2021. Thankfully, I was fully insured. However, it is was what happened after Ida that will make me a Terrebonne Insurance Agency customer for life. I called Danielle, when the phones began working, and explained that a major expense--house lifting and leveling--was not being accepted or paid for. I also explained several other concerns I had about supplements from my insurance company. Danielle began calling my insurance company and talking to the agent. Later, Tammy took over the claims portion of the company, and she also began emailing and calling the insurance company agent as well--while always including me on the emails and calling me to keep me updated. I got the supplement I was seeking! I can now finish repairing my home! I cannot explain how thankful I am for Danielle and Tammys help with this claim. I have never had to file a claim of this size before--my house had to be gutted, lifted and leveled, and then fully repaired. While other people were calling lawyers, I called my insurance agents, and they worked for me, and were obviously very effective. Clearly, the agents at Terrebonne Insurance Agency truly care about their customers. It is not just something they say; it is a statement that they truly mean! Thank you Danielle and Tammy! Sandy Champagne Everything seemed fine. Person I spoke to was very nice and informative. Was going to buy a home owners policy based on quote; however, I was then told I HAD to bundle auto with it. I did not need an auto policy as I was already insured and my current insurance was cheaper. I expressed that I felt blind sided as this wasnt mentioned when I was inquiring for a quote. Person I spoke to stated she had asked if I wanted to bundle auto. I did not appreciate this response as ASKING does not in any way imply NECESSITY of bundling. This is a crooked policy and it should be expressed up front instead of wasting potential customers time.

I have several customers with progressive insurance that’s having issues getting paid I’ll be sure to refer as many people as I can too statefarm and Allstate.. I’m just a poor old shrimper can’t afford to pay attention and they have the audacity to take from the small guy

Negotiating with adjusters and contractors is confusing and difficult. David stepped up and helped with the whole process of recovery for my daughter. Two and a half years later, I am still a great advocate for this agency! They send updates, advisories and helpful hints. If I have a question, David or "the Amys" give prompt and helpful research and answers.
