Anytime Fitness - St Rose Savannabryce Hodges: Absolute disgrace of an establishment.
I signed a contract before my wedding back in August of 2022 , the contract was up in August of 2023 and at that time , I went in and met with the owner to cancel . I was very pregnant , high risk and was advised by my doctor to be on bed rest . When I went in to cancel Mike tried telling me in his judgy condescending tone that “you can still workout while you’re pregnant “ I then felt the need to explain myself and why I could not and that it was against my doctors orders . I signed the necessary paperwork to cancel my membership and stop being charged . Over a year later in March of 2025 , I noticed my account was still being charged these funds . I called the office and was told that I’d need to speak with the owner again. He got back with me and told me that he did not have the copy of my paperwork and that I should have kept up with my copy (again, I was very pregnant and high risk at the time of cancellation.. so )the last thing on my mind was keeping up with a piece of paper that I assumed the establishment would keep multiple copies of. I filed a claim with my bank account because there was over $560 worth of UNAUTHORIZED charges on my account . Anytime fitness then sent in the contract I signed back in 2022 , but failed to add that they “seemed to have misplaced their copy of my cancellation “ the owners words on our call . I’ve emailed and called multiple times to get in touch with the owner so that this can be resolved , and every time I’m told he isn’t in. The owner is a coward and a thief .
