1 /5 Ace Winters: My dad sent me a check from this credit union, and nobody will answer ANY of the phone lines to verify it in order for me to cash it. I might understand if it was just the fact that Im living out-of-state and they dont answer Colorado phone numbers like the check-cashing place has, but I still have my 318 number and they still arent picking up. Ive tried three different phone menu options and they ALL just ring for ten minutes and then hang up. Every single line has the same dial-menu, even the local branch numbers, and not a single one of them works. This is unacceptably terrible service.
Update: they STILL arent answering the phones, and have now reported the check to my bank as fraudulent, meaning that I now have to repeat the entire mailing process again, which puts a huge crunch for time on my entire wedding. My father just had a heart attack and I was so happy to think that I gave the check to my new bank and they would take care of it so he would be able to recover in peace, which I now know was a false hope. I reached out to the email, and they told me to call the number. Absolutely useless.
