1 /5 Hannah Henson: I bought a ring here the Friday before Mardi Gras- such a beautiful ring! I spent $65 on said ring and in less than a month, Id already lost a jewel. As a single mom, I couldnt make my way to the quarter immediately, so I figured to mention it when I went for French Quarter Fest. By that time, another jewel had fallen out. Imagine my shock when I walked in to talk to a shop clerk and she tried to tell me Id bought my ring down the street. I assured her Id purchased it in her shop and pulled up my bank statement to show her so. My sister was there and also verified my purchase. She, again, tried to deflect saying that shed only just started there. Additionally, she said they couldnt guarantee a ring bought months ago- I cleared it up by letting her know it had only been five weeks. In the end, she took my number to reach out after shed spoken to the owner to find a reasonable solution. I finally got a text two days later and she offered me half off another piece of jewelry. It was shocking to me that her, and the owners, solution to a broken piece of jewelry was for me to spend more money in their shop. I was hoping for them to repair my ring. Im also uninterested in purchasing more jewelry from a store unwilling to back their products. What a disappointment. When I responded to their text expressing my disappointment, I never got an answer. This local is unimpressed.
