    kiki b: I had got served papers from my mortgage company by the sheriff department on Friday. This packet of paper work stated that I had to be present in court in June. After calling my mortgage company and calling the lawyers who sent the paperwork I still had no resolutions as to why I was being summoned to court. So Monday I called and spoke with a lawyer that was recommended to me but they were out of district and after explaining my situation all that lawyer said was get a lawyer in my area. I was so frustrated . Thank goodness I called the cook law firm . The nice person that answered the phone quickly got me connected to Michelle cook who patiently listened to my story and was able to give me feedback and options of the next steps I needed to take. She took the confusion out of the legal jargon and paperwork. She explained everything in simple terms so that I new what to do next. She was professional and courteous. I definitely would recommend them to handle your needs.

    JayTee’s Mom: Stay well away from this man. Unprofessional. Isn’t on time for court. After a year his words were I’m not ready for trial. He made my case continually worse by angering with prosecutor and the judge with his tardiness or not showing up with a very unreasonable short notice. Dhu thompson got done in 2 court sessions what this man made me go through a year of what was already a scary situation. Would not tell me he was gonna be late. Left me there in pieces time and time again with zero communication. When you walk in he has a plaque for best dwi lawyer, he is not… do not fall for it and run as fast as you can. I think the most disappointing part was he never sent our letters and witness statements until the day he missed court. Do not hire this man. Feel free to contact me for any questions.
