Merrill Lynch Wealth Management - Shreveport Stephen Berger: I started trading online with Etrade around 1995, and to this day have several Etrade accounts. Ive been trading with Merrill since 2005 and have to say they just arent close to Etrade. Merrill limits what ETFs you can trade (where Etrade does not) and recently in a reverse split, I was able to trade out of the effected stock the same day. Five days later, I still couldnt trade out of the effected stocks in Merrill. Ive since applied to have all my assets transferred out of Merrill. Do yourself a favor and go with Etrade, or something not Merrill.
