Stormy SCC is truly a place of worship, holiness, and community. From the worship team, to the pastors, as well as the kid’s service, my family has had such an amazing, life changing experience by going to this church. We have met the most loving people and friends that have helped my family grow closer to God. The pastors and church members go above and beyond to make sure each visitor feels like they are apart of the SCC family. This church not only offers a diverse selection of community groups to be involved with, but also has a huge heart for kid’s ministry as well.

Sadie LaPrairie I visited for the first time today. We recently moved back to this area to be closer to our family. I retired after 30 yrs with an awesome co. in Shreveport. We left the area in 2012. The music was awesome, the message was moving & the Word was preached. If you’re also looking for a church home, I recommend you visit SC Community church. In my opinion, you won’t be disappointed.

VidGaming Deynas (Veggieeater) When I walk inside, I am always reminded of what the TRUE image of Gods Kingdom will look like. They say Church day is one of the most segregated days of the week, becuase all the black people go to black churches, and all the white people go to white churches. Life United (formerly Word of Life) is LITERALLY a melting pot, and I have never seen anything like this before. I saw Asian people, Hispanic, and Black and white men shaking hands, patting each other on the back and laughing. There are interracial couples. There are black and white men and women singing on stage. I love this. There are gift bags for guests. Prayer warriors are at the front of the stage after service. Theres so much more, but its really nice.

He teaches the importance of honoring Jesus over man, having a close relationship with God the Father, & allowing the Holy Spirit to work in & thru you as a believer. He cares about having the church ready for Christ’s return.

Jody Webb We only recently discovered Riverpark Church and are happy we did. It has a unique and welcoming vibe and welcoming people! The pastor was even out in the courtyard greeting. The music was incredible and both sermons had a great balance of complexity and relatability. Cant wait to see whats next.

Gessner, Ed Warm welcoming traditional Episcopal Church in downtown Shreveport. On the National Historic Landmark registry. The interior is breathtakingly beautiful with seating for 400! The pipe organ sounds magnificent. This jewel is hiding in plain site, across from the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium.

Well, we ended up falling in love with The church and the loving family atmosphere there where everyone feels welcome and nobody is a stranger. Chris H. This church is a hidden jewel location in Shreveport, La. If you love a small church feel but get the full embracing of a big church then scared heart is the church to attend. Anyone who visits the church is welcomed with open arms and all ages are welcomed, young and old. They have a cry room for the families with lil ones and you can enjoy the mass while tending to your young children. The word is delivered with passion and understanding. If your in town visiting or looking for another church family give this church a try. We also have a great experience every time we go.

Ruth Willis Sacred Heart is the most wonderful church I have attended. I enjoy being a part of the community and am very proud of our youth participation. I am actually very proud of all of the participation, as most of our community is part of one ministry or another.
