Embers Restaurant of La Inc - Winnfield (LA)

1 /5 Eric Arledge: I have no problem with the food, it’s a country restaurant. The only problem I have is they changed the amount after the fact it already cleared the account to include a tip. The only way they could have done that is if they forged a tip through the receipt process. I left cash on table. What they did was criminal. If they did this to me, how many other people has it happened with. They stole money! I have contacted the state authorities and filed complaints against this company. Unauthorized tips being charged to customers is a breach of trust and fraudulent activity.

1 /5 Marc Archuleta: Service was basic..... nothing extraordinary. The food however was disgusting. Biscuit was hard as a rock. Hashbrowns were a pile of mushy grease. The grits were cold. When we expressed our displeasure with the food. They basically said sorry. Ill let the cook know. Neither one of us ate our plate. We werent offered a refund or anything. The food was just foul!

4 /5 Dru Trentham: The food was good. The price was really great. The service really wasnt that great. They didnt even come asked you if you needed a refill on anything you had to call them over. And the sad thing is the place wasnt even busy there may have been two other customers in there besides me. They were more worried about talking on the phone or standing up at the cashier register talking.

5 /5 Laura Michelle Lichoff-James: Just good old comfort food. Friendly staff and customers. Good place to take a break from hunting to warm up and recharge before heading back out to the forest. :) Had the hamburger steak, onions, baked potatoe, side salad, toast and gravy for $11.99. Pictures look small but portions are huge! Had leftovers :)
