5 /5 Hope Ford: Best lunch in a long time! Tried for the first time based on coworkers review of the Columbia location. Ordered steak and shrimp from the menu cooked medium. The salsa is amazing! I could taste the roasted flavor of the veggies. The steak & shrimp were grilled to perfection. Steak needed no steak sauce at all. The entree came with the fluffiest baked potato Ive had at a Monroe area restaurant. Oh, and the margarita was nothing to complain about. If you havent done so, check out Gonzales Mexican Restaurant in Sterlington. You will not be disappointed!

4 /5 Chip Wells: My wife and I tried this place. It is a fairly new restaurant. Sterlington is a little town north of Monroe, Louisiana. This makes 3 Mexican restaurants within about a half mile. I was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere inside. It was very clean. My wife ordered a Burrito Gonzales. My wife really liked it! She stated that it tasted fresh. I ordered the sour cream enchiladas. They were pretty good. The meal ended up costing us about $40 for two people. That included the tip. The meal prices are very reasonable compared to the other restaurants in town. All in all, Gonzalez is a pretty good addition to Sterlington. Give it a try if you haven’t tried it. You’ll be pleasantly surprised!
