2 /5 Laura Dean: I really wanted to like this place and went in with high expectations. Our server was excellent. Thats the only compliment I can give. Started with the blue crab beignets. Still looking for the crab. All I could pick up was cream cheese. My parmesan crusted chicken tasted a little off, like maybe Id gotten the last piece out of a batch that had been prepped too many days ago. Maybe a tablespoon of lemon chardonnay sauce on it. My sides were grits and brussel sprouts. Zero flavor to the grits. The brussel sprouts were ok and might have actually been really good if the meal had been served hot. The pregnant lady in our group was served raw shrimp her shrimp Alfredo. The only people in our group who came close wanting to finishing their food were the people who ordered sandwiches. Im probably the exception to the rule because this place was slam packed, so people do like it. Im just not one of them and based on my experience, cant really give a good recommendation.
