5 /5 K D: This is one of the premier venues in Lafayette for live music, especially cajun music. Some of the top bands in town play in here for only a 10 dollar cover charge. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The servers work hard, although sometimes its just faster to get your drinks at the bar. If you want to dance, there is usually a friendly crowd there that is willing to dance with you. If you see somebody who is dancing around, dont be shy just ask them to dance. There is a very good chance you are gonna make a new friend. This place is an amazing living cultural landmark. Check out their facebook page to know whos playing. They update that every week. Hideaway is not some fancy smancy overpriced chain, it is living culture! If you want to really experience live cajun/zydeco musical, dance culture, this place is a must!

5 /5 Alphonse Boudreaux: What a wonderful quaint venue! The patio stage provides a fantastic offering of live music TFSS. Dancing is encouraged right in the center of the ground level wooden floor. Bands play for the cover & tips; there is so much local talent in Acadiana! Watch out for the fully dressed burger, its huge!

4 /5 Zoey Lindsey: Finally tried Hideaway on Lee and we were not disappointed. We went for apps and drinks late yesterday evening. The brussels sprouts were delicious and the deviled eggs were so different and flavorful! The old fashioned could have been better. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu options!
