5 /5 Legrecia Johnson: I did a to-go order and it started to rain while I was waiting. The staff offered to bring my food to the car, which I really appreciated. I live in Simsboro, and when I got home the food was still hot. Everything was well seasoned and the salsa was spicy but I enjoyed it. My mom and I ordered the quesabirria tacos, one beef gordita, one steak sope, a mango agua fresca, and a chimichanga meal. I plan to come back and try more items from the menu.

5 /5 Scott Smith: First time visit! The place is a hidden gem. Service is excellent! Booth seating has enough space to be comfortable. Everything was great! The owner brought us 2 tamales that were very large compared to all the other places. He said they are adding them to the menu in January. In house made tortillas. Queso is excellent!! $38 for me and my wife! We will be back!!

5 /5 C. Reid McLellan: Wife and I had lunch at 1230 - 2:00 on Tuesday Sept 30. Atmosphere is bright and festive. Family owned and operated. Food was excellent. In response to early suggestions, owner had reduced prices.. He topple us new menus are due October 2 or 3. New prices were written on current menu. Two fajita lunches (stk & ckn: & stk,ckn& shmp) and one drink (best lemonade Ive had in Ruston) was $31 plus tip. Tortillas are hand made. Cold plate was large and servings were generous. Food was slower arriving than most planes, but we had chios and salsa right away. Owner visited with us after lunch bunch had left.. As they get more organized in transition from food truck service (that continue to operate) to restaurant protocol, Sweetie will move up to 5/5 and this will be top Mexican restaurant in Ruston.

5 /5 Jules Whittle: I usually don’t leave reviews but this place is on the road to being a great spot! With all the Mexican places we have in Ruston, it’s gets repetitive after awhile but this place has a very different style. The salsa is fresh and has the perfect mixture of sweet and spicy and it’s not overpowered by the chopped ingredients. The queso is perfect and has been fresh every time we went! I got the quesadillas and it was perfect! This place is not stingy with cheese so bravo for that! The meal had very little to no grease too which I enjoy and you could taste more of the ingredients than just grease compared to my own experiences at other places. And the rice is perfection!! They are still getting the hang of things but please give this place a shot! Can’t wait to go again!
