Papas Pit BBQ & more - Ferriday (LA)

5 /5 Stacy Smith: We looked up restaurants in the area as we were traveling through and saw that Papa’s Pit had a 5 star review, so we decided to give it a try and boy, are we glad we did!!! The food is DELICIOUS ! We split a full rack of ribs, the one-of-a-kind spicy rice, baked beans, rolls, and a helping of banana pudding. We left with enough left overs for another meal for the two of us. Not only is the food fantastic but Lois, the owner and chef is precious and definitely has the gift of hospitality!

5 /5 Kelly H: The brisket was wonderful and I absolutely loved the spices in the rice. The owner and employees are the nicest people you will meet. If you are ever passing through, stop!!! Also, the restroom is nice and clean! Ill definitely stop again.

5 /5 Nichole Duncan: Was in Ferriday for work today & found this AMAZING little spot! The service was amazing & a great time. They were very patient with me figuring out what i wanted. The chicken was so good & juicy! Baked beans & coleslaw was flavorful. But that banana pudding!!!! Omg the banana pudding set it all off!! I bragged to 2 local businesses about how good this place was. This is my new stop the next time Im in Ferriday!

5 /5 Charlene Hawkins: This was my first visit to Papas Pit in Ferriday but it wont be my last. I had the BBQ ribs. I have to say they were the best ribs I have ever had. And Im from Texas. Juicy and tender, sooo tender. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. I was there on a Saturday evening about 45 minutes before closing. This is a take out only trailer but it is in a fenced in area with picnic tables and a bathroom. Everything was clean and well cared for. Cant wait to go back.
