2 /5 Tracey Davenport: This is my second attempt at this restaurant. I have been to the other restaurants in this group, Charlies in violet, and kitchen table and usually have outstanding food. Unfortunately this location doesnt hold up to the other two.
The roast beef poboy I had the first time tasted burnt. This time, the gravy or meat tasted like it came from a can and even had a weird texture. My friend even said he could smell that from where he was sitting. It was inedible so I asked for something else. I ordered the oyster poboy. That too was Disgusting. They cooked the oysters so long you couldnt chew them at all.
Being a chef, I give a lot of grace to kitchens/staff and forgive a lot, but this was so bad, that something definitely needs to change for the better at this location.
The other items we ordered were ok, the onion rings fried perfectly, and the shrimp poboy was ok.
My friend was from Phoenix, so this was a really disappointing experience.
