5 /5 Juliet Michalik: My boyfriend and I did take out over the weekend and this meal did not disappoint! Although they were out of shrimp, the server taking our order was quick to make another suggestion. We wanted the Fish and Shrimp combo but opted for the suggestion of two catfish filets for a $2 up charge for the additional filet. They were also polite and didn’t rush me when placing the order. The catfish had a good flavorful crust and wasn’t overly fishy. The Mac and cheese was on point. Even the dinner roll was good! The portions were generous and made two meals for me. I definitely will be back!

5 /5 Jimmie Rogers III: Perks Cafe has some of the best food Ive eaten in a restaurant. Theres many food options and everyday of the week has an special! The honey cornbread is my absolute favorite!! The workers are super friendly and make sure your well taken care of. The owner, Capt. Perky, is an amazing person that is full of joy and passion! He offers other Captains an 10% discount! Overall great people, best food, and pocket book friendly!

5 /5 Slyvanus Williams: The Best soul food spot in the parish. I’m not going to lie the flavor is on point. The salmon and the greens are really good. Clean environment and a good place to eat after a hard day of work or just a fun family outing. 10-10
