5 /5 Steven Bledsoe: The food here is really good! We both had the sampler plate which comes with ribs, sausage and brisket, and two sides. The ribs were delicious and fall off the bone tender. Sausage was great. The brisket was so tender you could cut it with the wrong end of a butter knife! The jambalaya was soooooo good, a must try. Dont forget the peach cobbler!!

5 /5 David Schwope: Best ribs ever! We got the sampler plate, so we got to try the chicken, sliced brisket, sausage, some ribs, and a little chopped beef with jambalaya and beans on the side. All was delicious but those ribs!!! Yum!! Now Ill tell you, dont be alarmed when you pull up, its an old, old, old place with LOTS of history but they sure know what they are doing! Hes been there for 35 years and still going strong. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed!

5 /5 dannah L: This place has five stars for a reason! Fantastic barbecue. Shank cat was the owners grandmothers nickname. The restaurant is located in her property. 35 years there!!! It’s more than a restaurant. It’s an experience. The guys running, it have a ton of character. Definitely worth the stop.
