Taste of India - Monroe (LA)

5 /5 Jessica Yeager: If you are from LA Baton Rouge going for a trip to Arkansas check this restaurant. Everything here are excellent, all orders we have taste different and taste so delicious. I never had goat for a decade and the Goat Rogan Josh was so really good. The tandoori combination was all good a unique kind of barbecue. Chicken Biryani has two sauce that if you mix it even tastes so much better to compromise the spiciness. Costumer service was personally service by the owner. He is very hands-on. The atmosphere was vibrant and aromatic with all the herbs they use. I wish this restaurant is close to Baton Rouge cuz seems like they have buffet on certain day and I would love try all their menu’s. And oh their online order is non stop so that says it all. Taste of India please come to Baton Rouge!

4 /5 Chip Wells: This was my first time going to Taste of India. I have not had a lot of India food, so I tried a little bit of each. I must say it surprised me. Most but not all of the food was spicy. I should say sweet and spicy. It was not extremely spicy though. I really liked a Taste of India. I had the rice pudding which made me think of my grandmother and growing up. The service was pretty good and the atmosphere was nice. This restaurant has a market also. If you have not tried A Taste of India, give it a shot. You just might like it!

5 /5 V J: Monroes first and most popular Indian restaurant. Everyone loves the delicious spicy food, the variety of dishes on the buffet, and the friendly and accommodating owner and staff. Popular buffet items are replenished frequently. They are on top of their game when it comes to keeping your large drink glasses refilled.

5 /5 Hart Stamper: My favorite restaurant to go to for an amazing buffet. The buffet changes so dont expect to get the same thing twice in a row, unless its Naan or butter chicken which seems to be a staple. Around $30 for 2 people to eat at the buffet during the weekday for lunch, great deal when the food tastes this good.
