4 /5 Robby Crafton: My family and I decided to check out The Crawfish Hut on a Saturday evening around 5:30. We were greeted and seated quickly by a friendly hostess, and the place started to fill up shortly after. We really enjoyed the live music from Mike Broussard—he did a great job, and the volume was perfect. It added to the atmosphere without making conversation difficult.
Our waitress took great care of us and had our appetizers out fast. We tried the boudin egg rolls, crawfish wontons, and mac and cheese bites. The crawfish wontons and mac and cheese bites were absolutely fantastic—crispy, flavorful, and a great start to the meal. The boudin egg rolls were just okay in comparison.
Our entrées came out hot and quickly. I had the crawfish enchiladas, and they were outstanding. The portion was huge—I could only finish one and brought the rest home. My wife and son split the crawfish pasta and still had leftovers. Everything was seasoned well and delicious.
The only downside was the restroom—it’s a bit small for such a busy place.
Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back soon. Great food, great service, and a laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere with live music done right!
