Shane Fletcher Shredded a trailer tire and luckily was about 150 feet from Chabill’s on Hollywood Rd. Employees were friendly and helpful. Ended up buying a set of tires instead of one and went with two. The tires I decided on were getting close to the DOT date. Employee advised she did not feel comfortable selling me those tires. She advised there was a set that was not the same name brand but were slightly cheaper. I settled on that set. The location was fairly busy but I was taken care of pretty quickly. I’d definitely bring my business back there.

Jessica Cleveland Went in for an oil change, couldn’t replace my filter then left oil hand prints all over the front of my car. Then to top it off left the new filter with oil hand prints on my suede seat. Unacceptable care to my vehicle on top of a lack of ability to complete a simple job

ClydeLitty BrookAveBoy Very disrespectful, ignorant, arrogant, cocky and caniving people. Save your vehicle & money by not going there.
Stole customers money & called cops after bringing vehicle to them with a oil leak; they fixed a "water leak" & returned vehicle with same (oil leak) almost causing engine to blow.
Didnt even want to hear my concerns upon arrival, just decided to call cops after they know they stole my money by NOT FIXING my oil leak (which is why I brought the vehicle to them).
Do not go here.. The lady at the desk answering phones was disrespectful and acted bothered by even showing up at business. Video of experience included in review.

Terry Percle Called them out to complete a DOT inspection on our truck and trailer. He literally only checked my trailer lights and nothing on my truck. When he gave us the stickers we were like “what the hell is this”? He said it’s your DOT Federal inspection sticker. Yet it was the same sticker you can buy at any truck stop. Charged us $20 just for paying with a card. Come to find out they are not even authorized to do DOT inspections! What a scam! FRAUDULENT! Do not use these people for anything!

The owner is always super sweet and takes the time to explain things if you have any questions. He’s efficient, and you’re usually in and out quickly, which is so convenient. On the rare occasion that my car didn’t pass inspection, he went above and beyond, giving me recommendations for affordable places to get repairs. I really appreciate his honesty and helpfulness – it’s why I keep coming back!

Thane Lacoste I love the fast and friendly service that I get from chabills. I took my car in to get a tire replaced and found out that I have been paying the dealership to rotate tires and they have not been doing so. I appreciate that the staff at chabills took the time out to point this issue out to me. I will be taking my car there for all of its tire needs in the future.

E B Initially went for inspection sticker,but also had a noise coming from the front end of my truck,they heard it and corrected the issue.i couldnt be happier. In addition ,a thorough inspection was performed ,was issued the sticker and I was on my way. Extremely great guys there!
I know I can trust these guys to repair whatever my truck needs,as they are really knowledgeable .I will be back for all my automotive needs.

JAY Breezy - J2BU Records I called good year to ask them how much is it to do front breaks and front rotors and they said total job $299. J&J charged me $475 and me not knowing about cars paid it. I feel robbed and around Christmas time. I wont be back and I wouldnt recommend no one to go there that dont know about cars.

Frank Shepherd I cant say enough good things about this place. I dont live in Houma and I was apprehensive when my truck began having alternator problems. I asked one of the local employees at my company where I could take it for repair and they recommended this place. I promise you I was not there 20 minutes and they were telling me the repair was complete. A new alternator. They happened to have it in stock and took care of me right away. And everyone was so friendly! If I ever have trouble again in South LA I know I have a place I can rely upon. These are good people.

Ray Domangue Been dealing with Shane for a good while, he’s very straightforward reasonably priced and quick turnarounds. On my recent vehicle he has installed a lift pump on my Duramax and at the present he replaced my EGR valve and cooler along with the DPF exhaust. All this was done very reasonably and done in a few days. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

shawn malbrough Got my dual exhaust last week from A1 & they cannot seem to weld exhaust tips on straight, if their life depended on it! One of the tips they went ahead & welded on was even damaged & they had to order another to replace it. After them calling me back today to come in & pick it up, after supposedly fixing it, the undamaged tip is still welded on crooked, on all 3 axis. These guys cant weld straight if their life depended on it. He kept trying to walk away, throwing his hands up in the air & saying thats the best hes going to be able to get it. Oddly enough, other exhaust shops get them welded on straight & plumb without any issues, the first time they do the job. Theres a serious lack of craftsmanship at this business. They come off like they dont even care!

jay wigg Got my exhaust done a little over a month ago.. was happy with it at first, a couple weeks after it been done I began to hear a rattling noise, come to find out it was my exhaust hitting against frame, yesterday while going down the interstate my exhaust pretty much fell out.. Only thing holding it is in my truck frame, truck is running like complete shit not getting the correct exhaust readings, I go back to A1 yesterday (Wednesday) and tell them my truck is pretty much not drivable… I get told my truck can’t get fixed until NEXT Wednesday, it wasn’t a problem getting me in on the spot with a lobby full of people to do it, but now that I need it fixed it’s a problem, can’t go a week without a vehicle when you’re a working person.. Taking my truck somewhere else today to fix their bs.
