Jamie Pratt I can tell you of my experiences here and go on and on. I have brought both my vehicles in for a variety of reasons. I trust these guys. The team here has done brake and rotor jobs, overheat diagnosis and resolutions, transmission swaps, etc. And every single time I have been treated with the utmost respect and been given a fair market price. This shop is a locally owned and operated establishment that will continue to receive my business.

Cam Tran I had brake pads installed here. Tarek was able to work on my car soon after I called him which I was super grateful for because the brakes were squealing and grinding. Tarek is as good as mechanics come and Im glad to know there is someone like him who I can go to for future car repairs.

Lauren Simmons I will only take my car to Shreve Cirty Car Care from now on! I moved to Shreveport by myself and when my radiator cracked I was terrified because I dont have family anywhere nearby. Shreve City Car Care got my car in the next morning and just a few hours later I got the call that it was finished! My dad is a mechanic so he did all the business talk with them (via phone) and even he told me these gentlemen are good and honest mechanics with great pricing! They treat you like family and make you feel comfortable. They lay it all out for you so you are confused by when is needed or is getting done

Gabrielle Nicole Service: 10/10 Prices: 10/10 Communication: exceeds expectations Whenever I go to mechanics, it’s always a hit or miss when it comes to understanding what’s going on with my vehicle and what I’m paying for. However, at this location that thought never crossed my mind! Allison at the front desk was great and even helped to break down pricing for me towards the end. The mechanics also did regular check ins and updates while I waited for my service to be completed. I’d recommend Affordable Mechanix to anyone!

Kiwanis James Affordable Mechanix made it so easy to make an appointment get the job done they was so nice and they call you to keep you updated on your vehicle . I didn’t have to call them not one time . So yes , I will be using this company again and recommend this business to anyone as well .

Kendra Swift Jonas has provided impeccable service with all of my car issues. Not only does he resolve the issue, but he thoroughly explains his diagnosis process and teaches you how to identify and prevent issues in the future. He even checked wiper fluid and made tire and oil change recommendations which was going the extra mile because he truly cares about his customers. I will gladly recommend others to this shop.

C C Blue is the best. Hes honest and has very reasonable prices. Has been my go to guy for at least 4 years.

Shamariah Jacobs Caliber Collision is the best collision shop anyone could go to. They had my car ready in 3 weeks which was 3 weeks earlier than the projected date. They kept me in the communication loop the entire time. I never had to wonder or call them to check on the status of my car. They literally always called me! My car is beautiful! Looks as it did when I first purchased it. I love them and will never need another collision shop if I ever need to go to one again.

Cody Usie Great mechanics in this shop. Bubba Shaffer is extremely knowledgeable and honest. They’re located in the center of the local semi parts dealers so they can get you back on the road quick. Motel right next door as well if you need it.

Steve Creech Its rare to find a foreign car repair shop that doesnt overcharge or take advantage, but I can say when we drop my wifes Mercedes off, I have trust that the repairs and service will be correct, appropriate, and cheaper than the dealership! I always have to drool over the exclusive cars I find here, and Im amazed by the diversity. Of course there are European fine cars, but I have also witnessed American cars being serviced, usually rare models requiring expert mechanics. Today, there was an AC Cobra motor sitting in a corner, awaiting installation ("Hes got to buy the car first" I was told), an early square body Bronco was up on a lift next to a Plymouth Prowler. A Ferrari was in another corner, waiting its turn, and that was just inside the shop! The parking lot was full of exotic machinery, from a Corsa Corvair to several Porches, and I suspect the owners Maserati (drool). No, they are not a cheap shop, but the quality of the work is worth every penny. I highly recommend them.

Bob Cunningham I was referred to this shop over 15 years ago by a BMW technician that told me I could save some money on a repair I needed at the time if I took it to them and the work they said would be top notch. I did and it was! Anyone who owns any of these European cars know that repair work does not come cheap, but at this shop they are fair, honest and stand behind their work. I took my M5 in for AC work and after something else went wrong with it shortly after I had it repaired, although they were backed up almost two months in appointments, they asked me to bring it back in and they would work me in. Turns out the blower on the A/C had failed and they worked it in and I had it back within a week. They could have easily put me in the cue for a later time, but did not, given the high temperatures we had been experiencing. Needless to say, I dont take my vehicles anywhere else.

Jill Nolan Customer service, honesty and hard work are not lost, I have found them at Murrays ! I dropped off my car to have the air compressor replaced, and Not only was it cheaper than the dealership, but it was ready sooner than expected. It is so nice to have constant communication with the mechanic and they even called a few days after to make sure that everything was still running okay. Needless to say, I have a new mechanic and I will never bring my car anywhere else but to Murrays.

Meagan Walker Hes drunk, annoying and makes me overwhelmed after 10 mins of talking to the guy. Hes just a wannabe "The Don" who thinks hes a big shot and "helps everyone" by offering them work but never being reliable enough to work for. Hes just unreliable and a very unprofessional person. I wouldnt want to have my child use the facilities in his shop let alone my elderly family members. The shop is disgusting, ashes everywhere, broken roof tiles, trashy and gross. Do NOT RECOMMEND.

Ardreva My experience was absolutely awful! They had my car for a week, never called to tell me anything, I always had to call them. I was never given a definitive answer as to what was wrong. I explained to Pete, that the car would start shaking in the front sometimes when I accelerated. He told me that I wouldnt hear something that day from them, NO CALL! That was a Thursday when I dropped it off. Monday I called & explained my frustration about not receiving a call Thursday, which is what I was told. So, now he tells me that I needed a tune up. I explained that it just had a tune up the week before. Pete says, well check it out again. Its Wednesday now & Im really disappointed! I called Wednesday, now he tells me that my motor is gone! I told him that Ill pick it up tomorrow. I get there & my car is parked in the back behind a fence. He didnt even have the decency to bring the car around, PETE ASKED ME IF I SAW MY KEYS ON THE COUNTER, I SAID YES, DO I NEED TO GO GET MY CAR? UNSURPRISINGLY, HE SAID YES! MY EXPERIENCE WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL! THIS IS MY STORY.

Janice Barrett I highly recommend the his company. They are foremost and beyond any customer experience I have ever experienced. Loren is very knowledgeable, professional ad well as personable. He provided quality service in addition to sending updated pictures of the progress as he worked to complete the repairs. During the course of repairing my vehicle he discovered that a previous mechanic made an error which Loren immediately made me aware of and made the necessary repair without an additional charge. He is professional and reasonably priced. I highly recommend him for any and all auto repairs. Keep up the great work Loren!

David Kovacevich We were here on vacation and had a malfunction with our transmission shifter. We had a long drive ahead and were far away from our mechanic and had no tools. Bayou auto saved our trip and vacation! He was able to get us in quickly. He was fast efficient and personable. He replied promptly to calls and had great communication. If we lived in Louisiana he would be our new go to mechanic! We cant say enough good things!

Bruno L. I have to share how amazing Lincoln and his shop are. I was stranded there on a Sunday afternoon, on my way back to Texas. Lincoln diagnosed and fixed the issue as soon as he could, and was so kind about it-- he actually didnt charge me, despite my willingness to pay. It was a minor (but urgent) fix, but still, dont expect him to just work for free haha. There arent that many people out there, much less mechanics, who would be so generous and helpful to someone stranded from out-of-town. It goes without saying that Lincoln was very competent, and my 200-mile drive home was uneventful thanks to him. :) I would gladly go back to L&G, and Ive recommended Lincoln to my friends in Shreveport. The only downside is that he isnt closer to me in Texas!

Maryam Mohammad I took my new Telluride to Kia for a warranty alignment, and they claimed I had $2,000 in undercarriage damage that needed fixing first. I called Lincoln for a second opinion—his phone estimate was much lower, so I brought the car in. After inspecting it, he told me there was no damage at all and recommended I try a tire shop for the alignment. Sure enough, Firestone did the alignment with no issues. Lincoln’s honesty saved me thousands, even though he didn’t charge me a dime. The least I can do is recommend him to everyone—trustworthy, fair, and truly looking out for his customers.
