Will Scola Kings Diesel helped me! My Hotshot Ram 5500 with the 6.7 Cummins motor, had a failed water pump! Coolant leaking everywhere until Kings Diesel repaired it quickly and effectively! Very reasonable shop rate and a good service. I would recommend coming here for maintenance as well as repairs

Double K If you’re looking to get ripped off, this is definitely the place. First, they claimed the batteries were bad and replaced them. Then they said the starter was bad too. Were the batteries really the issue in the first place? I seriously doubt it.
I received a handwritten invoice for $2,708 — not exactly the mark of a professional shop. They charged six hours of labor just for replacing the batteries and the starter, plus an extra $185 for diagnostics.
When I questioned why they billed six hours for a job that realistically takes two, they claimed they were following the Mitchell1 labor guide. I own a repair shop myself and also use Mitchell1 — it clearly shows 1.3 hours for replacing the starter on a Volvo D13 engine and 0.6 hours for replacing the batteries. That adds up to 1.9 hours, not six.
I even tried to reduce the inflated costs. First, I mentioned my company is tax-exempt. At first, they said they don’t honor tax exemptions, but once I offered to provide the certificate, they agreed to remove the tax. Then I tried to negotiate the labor charges to make them more realistic — at the very least, I asked them to charge four hours. All they did was reduce the total by $50.
This kind of overcharging and vague billing is exactly what gives repair shops a bad reputation. Whether you’re a trucker trying to stay on the road or a fleet owner managing costs, think twice before trusting this shop. You may end up paying triple for half the work.
