05-2025 Amys Country Cuttery in Top 16 Reviews Beauty Salons in Opelousas, LA Part 1- WaxBNB - St Martinville Zae Monyea: Let me just say this is by far one of the BEST experiences I have had with getting a wax! The atmosphere was AMAZING and very welcoming and Aneisha was just as WONDERFUL! She made it feel like “home” As a plus size girl, sometimes I know it might be hard to get comfortable with someone going down there, but I promise ya, she won’t make you feel out of place! Definitely recommend!!!

I moved to the area about two years ago and went to another salon in the area but it wasn’t a good fit for me. I have found my salon and stylist for forever! I couldn’t say enough good things about this place. I highly recommend this salon to anyone in need or is looking for an amazing atmosphere. Thank you Christy I love my hair!

- Salon 818 - Franklin Crystal Vautour: Id love to give this place a higher review but sadly I cant.. see whenever you try to call no one answers. If you leave a message it will be days if ever to call you back. Walk-ins are welcome. However you will sit with the owner and her whole family as they talk loudly and forget your even their. Dont ever ask for mens or a boys hair cut! They cannot fade hair properly for men. Harley was awesome and a very good hair stylist. I went back twice just for her. But sadly the rest of my experience there was way below sub par and I will not go back.
