Tanya dauzat: We live close to it so we go just to walk around look at the cemetary.its nice but lonesome there I wish it was simpler times though.but if u looking for quiet time and the museum nothing fancy but its nice to me.i dont really need some big fancy park to spend my money while people talk in remote voices . Its simple enuf for us
Andrea Schneider: Great place to tour, and the tour guide was super nice and fun to talk to. They have the incorrect times for the tours on their website. When we got there, they ended up doing a tour just for us, which was so nice.
Greg Knapp: We almost passed the site due to its unpretentious entrance; so glad we didnt. This site is low-key, but does a wonderful job of telling the story of two of Louisianas favorite sons, White the Governor and his son White the US Supreme Court Chief Justice. They also do a wonderful job of of explaining Whites sugar cane operation. Fascinating stories. And dont mist the magnificent 400 - 450 year old live oak trees around the house.
Stephanie Koss: We took the tour of the home. It was at 10am on a weekday. We had a small group of about 10. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the grounds. Since the group was smaller, we had plenty of time for questions and comments during the tour itself. It was a great experience. Price was also right. If you like history and stories of hauntings I would recommend.
April Ford: Really had a great time exploring this amazing structure. It was a guided tour. You have to go to the tourism building across the street and they will take you over there at specified times. Absolutely fascinating and we spent a good hour there. We were about 20 minutes before the tour so we did get some information about the doll collection there at the tourism office and spend some time looking at that. It was a fun time and very informative.
Rhonda Jones: The museum has some many great facts about the life and legacy of Coach Eddie Robinson as well as those that played in the NFL and those that contributed to Gramblings rich history. Great family place to visit.
