Sharon Kinkle: Went to a friends funeral there and if I lived in St.Francisville this is where Iād attend church.
The pastor there was very inviting and straightforward. Which was comforting to hear someone tell you the truth in love, without seeming condescending in any way shape or form. Would love to attend a service one day under better circumstances.
John Smith: Met some members of this church the other day and they were extremely friendly. They were also very honest with me about some questions I had and offered some good advice about local culture. I couldnt believe it when they actually encouraged me to go to another church, informing me that their own might not be a good fit. Who does that? That type of honesty is refreshing in a world that is too often "more members = more money" focused.
John Smith: This is a neat little backwoods church for a unique Louisiana photo opportunity. Im not sure if theyre actually using the church for services, but based on appearances and the locked gate/surrounding fence around it, it doesnt appear so. Its almost like a ghost town church, made for an interesting quick little stop while exploring the little tree-tunnel back roads around the St. Francisville area.
