CAMS Automotive - Kenner Christina Brown: I worked mainly with Justin, who was polite and gave good customer service on the surface. But honestly, it felt like a lot of talk that didn’t match the follow-through. They fixed one issue, but in the process, created new ones.
Right after the repair, my son’s check engine light came on, and he noticed a strange noise from the engine. Turns out, a hose hadn’t been reconnected properly. When I brought it back for them to check, I was told my whole engine was bad. That didn’t sit right with me, so I got a second opinion. Another mechanic confirmed that Cam’s simply missed reconnecting a key hose. The only resolution offered? A free oil change.
I left feeling disappointed, not just in the oversight, but in the lack of pride and attention to detail after explaining to him the issues with a previous mechanic in Gretna. Sadly, this seems to be a recurring issue at a lot of shops in the 504 area, not caring enough.
