1 /5 Tiff Any: Wisdom teeth removal at age 35. Very little instructions on proper cleaning and aftercare. I was there 3 times after my operation because of extreme pain and swelling (when I should have been home resting and recovering). At my third visit, 6 days post-op I was given a second round of antibiotics and more "pain medication", still no instructions on irrigation. Following the instructions givin, I gently brushed my other teeth best as possible and rinsed with warm salt water, thinking my mouth was clean. Little did I know for 4 days I had food particles decaying in the holes where my wisdom teeth once were, causing pain swelling and I had even started to run a fever. On the 4th visit at my 7-Day check up he finally gave me an irrigation syringe and socket gel to help with pain and promote healing. The whole experience has been a nightmare. I would not recommend any of my friends or family go here. Two weeks later Im now suffering from a yeast infection from excessive antibiotics and still having extreme jaw pain and a constant headache.
