5 /5 Gwendolyn Griffin: On Sunday I visited Progressive Baptist Church, with my Cousin sister Claudia Williams. The service was uplifting, the Minister Preached the word from the book of Revelation. (Smile).The choir blessed me with some of songs from back in the day.( old one 100s). Loved the expressions of Love before the benediction.

5 /5 Anita Bendy: I went to gala at Progressive Baptist Churchs Community Outreach Center which would be across the street from the church. The place was clean, easy to see from the street and handicap accessible. There is a stage for entertainment and the building can hold a large crowd of people. The church allows certain functions to be held there. As far as being rented to the public I have no knowledge of that, but to me, it is an excellent place to have a function.

Pastor Zach and the whole community welcomed us with open arms and made us feel at home and cared about. If you havent found a place to get involved with the community and want to learn more about the bible then I suggest you give this place a shot. Ask questions, listen, and love. It is a good place to find peace ask why and find your own peace.

Robert Dunn: I came into Lafayette for work this week and decided to attend their 10am service. Was warmly greeted when I came in and the venue was very clean and well decorated. The service began and Im happy to say I very much enjoyed the subject and delivery by the pastor. Hes very thoughtful and passionate. The congregation was missing some of their regulars because summer break had just started some there were lots of seating. The worship was nice. I would gladly attend again if I was back in the area.

A building so full of grace that it cannot contain such a portion of this beautiful gift. It must be given. Its ours for the taking. The more we appreciate grace the less that we might waste. This church is grace preaching,forgiveness teaching, and by true Agape love people reaching. GOD of mercy is what you will see. No angry GOD or condescending, people pretending; will you see here. While the Spirit is flowing and glowing through people singing and the music and worship. The presence of GOD ;you will feel very much near. Eventually in the Spirit more will we walk, less of the flesh will talk. Less of the enemys voice will we hear squawk. Landmark is about discipleship and relationships not religion. Love GOD and your neighbor and in that you are following the one and only Saviour. Jesus Christ ! Just because we get dirty doesnt mean that we stop washing up .We get cleaned up in the flesh with the intentions of staying as clean as possible. So do we with our heart ,mind,body and soul. Through repentance, praise, and prayer. Serving GOD while confessing our faults one to another; showing others that you care. A Great Pastor along with real tested and invested people! We are who we are and in that being said; to go we still have very far. Landmark doesnt point a finger at you but gives to you an open hand up followed by a hug. The only disappointment you will have is when church service is over. Do not fret when you fall and get dirty in between .Come back every week. Get involved and start to feel clean. "Rinse and repeat".Do not wear your grace at your feet .It needs to be held up high because Such a GOD left his heavenly seat, became flesh to die for us to be in right standing and fulfill the laws of old. So grace although free is still more valuable to mankind than any jewels ,silver, or gold.
