f B: I adored the breathtaking view, though I found myself unprepared and lacking sufficient equipment to capture its beauty in photographs. The location exuded a warm and inviting atmosphere, drawing in hobbyists, curious tourists, and local adventurers who all gathered to immerse themselves in the splendor of nature. The vibrant colors of the landscape and the gentle sounds of the scenery created a serene ambiance that felt almost magical. I’m already planning to return and fully embrace the experience next time.
Nathan Strom: Found this place on a whim. It is a nice if small park. It was clean and the memorial trees were beautiful! Great place to relax, maybe take a lunch break!
O’Nan Family Band: A little shorter than I hoped for, but a very beautiful place. Quite windy during our visit so I believe that to be the reason we didn’t see much wildlife. Will return for sure.
Steve M: Extensive layout of well preserved military gear and antiques from all the wars. Extremely informative. I felt like I was in someones personal military collection. Hidden gem in the city. They have the original Air Force One!
Debra Hammett: We went at the wrong time of day, but still a beautiful experience, late afternoon or early morning, and its only open on the weekends from what I understand
Rebecca Dauth: We really had a great time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We got to feed alligators, play a Cajun instrument, and steer the boat. It was one of the best swamp tours I’ve been on.
Richard F. Stripe: Amazing experience and a bargain for the ticket price. We went during the colder season so only saw one young alligator, but learning about the rich history of the area and seeing other wildlife more than made up for it. Our guide was passionate and knowledgeable of the ecosystem and its inhabitants, and I walked away having learned more than I would on any of the other tourist trap swamp tours.
