I Christian my oldest daughter there in 1988 its a absolutely a beautiful cathedral and so is St Francis in Houma rmwhere I raised my children and christian my baby there in 1988 . It is wonderful church. I always enjoy going back home and visiting the church. I now live in Huntsville AL and I atten St Mary of the Visitation cathedral downtown . Its home to me . 5 /5 Daniel Duplantis: Saint Louis is a beautiful country parish with a main high altar and two side altars. Great place to pray. The liturgies are extremely reverent. The music is good mix of chant and hymnody. The parish has a very active Knights of Columbus council and Ladies Auxiliary. The youth group attends several conferences a year and travels to the National Catholic Youth Conference held every other year. Plenty of opportunities to get involved.

5 /5 Katherine Gautreaux: My childhood church. Love Father Robert. He always speaks about Jesus in his homilies. A lot of my family are among those in the cemetery and one day I will be there too.
