First Baptist Church - oak grove - Oak Grove Pat Smith: Actually, I was across the street from First Baptist Church in Oak Grove, LA. I have never been inside this church, but outside it is kept very attractive and has a welcoming atmosphere. There is even an outdoor area where young children can play! It seems like all ages are considered and provided for here. The church is one of the biggest in town, and judging from the vehicles parked outside on Sunday, has a large congregation, as well. The sign out the church had this message on it quite a number of times when I saw it - ( I hope I am remembering it correctly!) - We Make Disciples Who Make Disciple Makers. Great slogan, and reminds me of the saying, Each One Reach One!
