1 /5 Chloe Dubois: My sister and I walked in 30 minutes to close to look for a bow and shoes for my daughter’s baptism. We had two toddlers with us who were being toddlers wanting to run everywhere but I held my daughter so she wouldn’t keep touching things and the other one was playing with the toys being very content. The older lady had an attitude with my sister and I by first “suggesting” (if that’s what you could call it) to us what to do with our children while we shopped, then when i asked her something about a bow she interrupted me with “well that’s what i was saying before” and continued, when we walked out they told us bye with sarcasm. “be safe, stay warm, have a great rest of your day.”something of that sort. I have never left a negative google review anywhere but my sister and I greeted them kindly and were met with immediate ugliness. Keep in mind this is somewhere that my sister has shopped since her son was born and he is now 3 years old, they frequent the store so often that he already knew where the toys were at that the children are allowed to play with while parents shop. My last thing I want to add is that we could hear the two ladies speaking to each other under their breath while my sister was trying to get her son away from the toys, he was upset obviously because he had to be taken from the toys that he was playing with like any 3 year old. If remarks were made to our face I can only imagine what was said under their breath. This isn’t coming from anyone but me because my sister has had a positive experience shopping there until this time, but this was my FIRST time there and that’s the experience that I had. A total of less than 15 minutes in Phil’s by the way.
