Melissa Walked in and Walked right out. Wanted acrylic full sets for my 2 tween girls for Easter. Asked for costs for different options my girls requested. Nail tech/employee tells me $73 each. ?!?! I said what if we do something more simple, one color, one accent nail, nothing too fancy? And She replies $65..I asked what do the acrylic nails start at. She says, $53 for a full set at minimum. So I thanked her and nicely said we will have to go somewhere else as that is too much for us. Seemed really high as all other salons quoted starting at $37, then you pay for all add ons. For example multiple colors, designs, etc. Thankfully we found a place. Sooo happy I asked for prices ahead of time and shopped around. Sheesh!

Cara Balzano Walked in on a Sunday bc my normal place was closed and I needed nails done asap- very nice ppl. Not too busy so I didn’t feel rushed. They did a great job and I will prob be back here instead of my normal place.

Mckenna Nails lasted me almost a month! No chipping, cracks or lifting of dip polish. Best nail salon in town, so glad I tried it out! They don’t rush you, they take their time and make sure your nails look perfect.

Dewanna Bell I love getting my nails done. I’m just a little upset that it wasn’t open for a couple of days now. Don’t know what’s going on and I just hope everything ok with them.

Jennifer Crow AWFUL! The salon was unsanitary. I paid $48 (cash only) for a mani/pedi. The filter cover in the pedicure basin fell off and they just stuck it back in while my feet were still in the water so I probably caught something. No lotion on feet or hands. No hand or foot massage. No hot towel. For an additional $3 you get the works at the salons off Hwy-21. It will be worth the drive!

Kelly Nguyen I recently got my nails done here and the results came out amazing. The lady is so nice, lovely, and so open to conversations. The environment here was so comfortable and relaxing, I love it. The prices for nails and toes are reasonable for the quality that they give. This will be my go to spot from now on! :)

Anna Mae Wood I tried this place for the first time 7 weeks ago and wanted to give them a rough trial and I am highly impressed. She took her time and made sure everything was perfect. Definitely my new nail place! Pedicure was also nice and not rushed. To add I live and hour away and will be making the drive

Renee Rose I have been going to this salon for over a year now, and I absolutely can not go anywhere else. Mrs. Kim makes me feel so pampered and spoiled, and she always does such a great job. My absolute favorite place to get my nails and toes done.

Brooke Ponthier Ive been going to this Nail salon since 2020 and it was always a good experience until the last couple of visits. The most recent visit (Jan 28, 2025) was a horrible experience. The man who did my nails was constantly on his phone about every 5 minutes and rushed the whole process. Everyone else in the salon was getting the proper experience and treatment. I truly felt like a fool in that building. Also, i almost walked out in the beginning because it took multiple picks to find a color that wasnt out. To top it off the gel polish is already starting to chip off. Never going back again.

Hannah Forrest I go here monthly and their pedicures and nails are amazing. The owner, Lee, is a sweetheart and my mom, my grandma, and I all frequent this place! Love my nails everytime I go. And have the best color selection! And they’re so quick I’m in and out but they also take their time. 5 stars!

L L Everytime I go they work with me and do a great job! I get an overlay over my natural nails and gel polish. 10/10 everytime! $50 for a soak off + full overlay manicure with gel

Ava Laborde I WISH I could give this review 0 stars. I am so upset about how my nails came out. First things first I scheduled a few days prior for an appointment for a full set of acrylics and a pedicure at 4pm. I got there and was immediately told to quickly pick out my color and to go to my seat. A little rude but ok… I sat for about 25 minutes as she was doing my nails, her 4:30 appointment walked in. She rushed to finish my acrylics like she was running out of time? Then I was told to wash my hands and go to another spot so a different person could paint my nails? I showed the picture that I wanted (a black French tip) and this was done rushed as well. I would also like to add that the color that was done was brown instead of black like I requested. At this point I was so over this experience that I paid and left. I am so disappointed with how I was treated and how horrible my nails were done. WILL NOT BE BACK.

L B I was told to come back in an hour since they were busy. I went back in an hour and then ended up waiting another 30 minutes. Would’ve left if I known it was gonna be that long. The manicurist didn’t wash her hands between the last person and myself neither was anything else washed that I could tell. Including Files. I probably should’ve stopped her. My nails were already short, but she filed down the sides and made them even shorter. I won’t be going back. I gave her three because the gel polish did last. Also, I would hardly call the rubbing of my hands for a minute a real manicure. Other places I’ve been makes it more relaxing and includes forearms or at least the wrist area. Not worth $45 for a just gel polish manicure.

Stanimira McKnight I recently moved to Covington from NYC, where Ive had my nails done for 25 years. I never thought Ill find a place that matches the service Ive been getting in NY, but these girls are really marvelous. Today was my first visit, and I already have my next one scheduled. From getting checked in to the dip manicure, pedicure, and face waxing, the treatment was amazing. Too bad they only do face wax, I wouldve loved to be able to get a full wax service here too.

yvette James Wait was long for a Wednesday but I had nothing planned so I waited. Typical nail spot with typical 3 to 4 workers. The reason I give 5 stars is because the technician actually cared about my feet. I usually get gel polish and I’ve noticed that my nails are always so thin. At other locations they are so rough and want to buff to much! This woman never tried to buff with a machine nor nail buffer and actually told me to use regular polish because the gel is to harsh for my thin nails right now. The drive is out of my way, but I am going to start going because of her.

Kimberly Golczynski Was just in town for a short time, and I popped in as a walk in. Wonderful family run business! I got a pedicure and dip nails. Both services were very well done with a lot of attention to making sure they came out right and not just rushing through it. Would definitely go back any time I’m in town!

Ofc_itsbecca I 100% RECOMMEND THIS SALON!! After my best friend had her wedding nails absolutely butchered by another salon, we ran over to H2K to have them fixed. As soon as we walked in and explained what was happening they were so sweet and understanding, even to go as far as calming her down. They talked with us and explained every detail of what they were doing to her nails! They even stayed after closing to help her out and she left with the biggest smile on her face! This place is amazing! Here are the before and after pictures!

Taylor Carroll I recently visited Madelyn Nail Spa and I couldnt be more thrilled with my experience! I showed the technician two pictures of nail designs I loved, and he managed to combine them perfectly just as I envisioned. The attention to detail and skill displayed was outstanding. The staff was friendly and attentive, the tech made sure to ask me multiple times throughout the appointment if I liked them or wanted to change anything. I left the salon feeling fabulous with my gorgeous nails, and I can confidently say that Madelyn Nail Spa is now my new go-to salon. If youre looking for a place that delivers excellent results and fantastic service, I highly recommend checking them out!

Honie I was very disappointed I work for the state Board of cosmetology I have taught nails for last 43yrs My job at state board is to grade the students on their work . The workmanship on my 10 yr old granddaughter was awful to work in a salon first of all learn to speak English you are in US. I was charge 5.00 to file her nails unexceptable She asked for design to go on specific fingers they didnt listen at all. For myself I explicitly told the nail tech to use gold she decides to use silver i wanted my nails to look at certain way for Christmas. When I told her she stated oh I fix dealing with her and my granddaughter nails tech I was so ready to get out of there If I was the inspector I would have written them up. I will never go back there again. Our experience was awful.

Wendy Stein I brought my mom to get a Detox Pedicure today. At my favorite salon. I don’t know how I’m ever going to go back to a regular pedicure again! The service and experience were top notch. 1000% recommend!

Christina Dloniak I have been wanting my nails done for months since Ive moved to Covington, but was scared to try a new nail salon. Today was the day I was ready to finally get them done again so I started searching for nearby places online and looking at reviews. Sparkle Nails & Spa is the place to go! I was able to book an appointment online and when I went in, they acknowledged me and got me started right away. The gentleman who did my nails was very sweet and he did a wonderful job on my nails! They even gifted me a Christmas present at the checkout. I will definitely be making this my new nail salon. Thank you!!

Crystal Leday I’ve been coming to Sparkle consistently since January of this year. My nails have never been exactly how I wanted them, but I chose to keep coming because I figured consistency is the best way for improvement. Today I asked about their suggestion on a brand that wouldn’t look dull as fast and if they could not do my nails as thick with acrylic. They couldn’t give me a suggestion because they said it was up to the customer. So I asked which brand do they observe to last longer as far as shine and not having as much dullness. He said he didn’t know. I was really trying to get them to understand what I was asking but they just kept telling me to pick a color. I spend around $150 every time I go there, I just want my nails not to look dull after the first couple of days. I suggest going to a salon that knows their products and gets feedback from customers on what’s good and what isn’t lasting. Things are too expensive to be wasting money.

Rhiannon Moore I’ve been here 3 times so far. I went because my coworker goes here and her nails are always really pretty. The first time I got dip and an older woman did it, I felt like it was a really nice job so I went back and got a pedicure and dip. A young guy did my feet and did an amazing job and then the same older lady did my nails. No complaints. The last time I went i just got dip. I had gel polish on my toes and I wanted to match it as closely as possible with the dip and the tech I got did an amazing job finding one that was super close and I think I’ve discovered my new fave color. This time I had a younger lady and she did a phenomenal job. I cannot remember the last time I loved my nails so much! I don’t know her name but I hope I get her again next time!

Jeannee Major Wow! The excellent customer relations & attention to details is 10/10! My regular (real nails) manicure actually looks like gels. I absolutely love them. They are customer focused & actually listen to you. Anybody might hear you, but they actually listen. You might pay a little more, but the product & service makes it worth it. I recommend this spa to anyone!❤️

The owner Amy is very nice and today I had Nina doing my pedicure and she was awesome. Theyre best package is there CBD package which is new for them and it is great. I completely recommended.

A Simmons I truly enjoyed my first time experience at Unique Nails. The ambience was great very relaxing, the ladies were very professional, which is always key for a new customer. Rosa was my tech she did a wonderful job with my nails and my waxing services. I will definitely be going back for all future services.

Lee S Kevin did a great job! He is very meticulous and talented. My nails last a long time. I am very clumsy and I lift weights. Through all of that they still look good weeks later. I highly recommend Kevin. Sad to say I moved to another state. It will be nearly impossible to find someone as good to do my nails.

Ona B The lady who did my nails stayed on her phone the majority of the time. The pedicure was not great. She put one coat of polish on which is already coming off, and it was very messy the day of. I would not go back. The lady who did my daughters pedicure did a great job and was very attentive and sweet.

Kristen Ruffino I absolutely love getting the Sky Nail Bar Pedicure with Nikki. They have complimentary drinks, great vibes and everyone is so sweet. I have loved every pedicure I have received. Nikki gives the best foot and leg massages. Highly recommend Sky Nail Bar!
