I switched dental offices about a year ago due to easy location of this office right off of Causeway versus uptown, no parking and not convenient location. I now have fallen in love with Storyville! First, the office is beautifully renovated and very comfortable right when you walk in. Secondly, the staff is amazing - I highly suggest Elise as a hygienist she is sensitive and zero pain. Andrea, the office manager is pretty great and personal as well. Dr. Thibodaux is great, he made me feel like an old friend Ive had for years. Id call this office far more homey than any other dental office Ive ever been and highly suggest it to anyone!

KRISTEN MCNEELY I would recommend them to anyone! My family and I have been going to Dr. Thibodaux for a very long time. I have never had a bad experience. Its always a laid back, comfortable environment, while still remaining professional and very knowledgeable. The entire staff is amazing. Andrea at the desk is always joyful, helpful, and outgoing. Diane is friendly and does an amazing job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Thibodaux is the coolest dentist ever! Hes very smart and knows what hes doing. I never feel like just another patient there. They are always welcoming and make you feel like family.

rob moore Tre’ DeFelice at Storyville Family Dentistry is top notch. He takes the time to explain everything in great detail and gives me plenty of options about how to make the best decision for my dental care. He was very careful to be sure that I was comfortable and pain free during multiple sessions for my dental needs. The office staff is amazing and friendly. I feel right at home. They fit me into their schedule when I had a crown that was broken and needed immediate attention. Thank you for the speedy assistance and guidance with my dental care. I will not go anywhere else in the future.

Katie Banquer My husband had a root canal done last Friday in Boutte that is overfilled. My husband went back today and the office denied anything was wrong with the root canal We confirmed the root canal was overfilled and damaging his nerve at another dentist with X-rays an hour after leaving the Boutte office Do not trust the Boutte office. My husband left there in pain and is still in pain with no relief in site. They don’t stand behind their work. Octavia told my husband to stop being so extreme when he was there in pain asking for help.

The front desk staff is unmatched when it comes to customer service and just being kind and sweet. They are all just amazing.

Ryan Mason I have spent the better part of last year and the beginning of this year with patella dealing with root canals. Thus far everything has gone perfectly. Dr. Patella is very catering to his patient. And his staff is the same. The procedures are a bit longer than other dentist but that is because he is a perfectionist and when it comes to your teeth that is what you want.. also he is very carful with the shoots to make it less painful to the patient… I recommend this office to everyone who ask me. Best experience in a dentist chair..

Katherine Billiot I have NEVER had an experience with a dentist like I did with Dr. Patella!!! He is absolutely amazing! I always feel like a dentist just wants to come in, do what they need to do, and leave in all under a few minutes. But not Dr. Patella, he met me and told me everything that was about to happen, talked through the procedure, and sat to answer all of my questions afterwards. He never made me feel like he was rushed, he made me feel like I was the most important patient ever. He truly takes his time to make sure his patients are taken care of and its so refreshing! The entire staff is so professional and courtesy! I would recommend this dentist to anyone!! 10/10!!

Jess Bost This is not the best place to go if youre like me and run late sometimes. They stopped seeing my child because I was late twice, but I cant understand a pediatric dentist being ok with punishing a child like that. Try Great Big Smiles instead if youre looking for a dentist for your child.

Karlee My daughter’s pediatrician let us know it was time for her first cleaning at the dentist, she’s 3! So I always heard great things about Thorson Dentistry so I made her an appointment. I was really nervous bringing her in since it was her first appointment and I didn’t know how well she would do in the chair. Thorson’s Denistry team were so patient with her! I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a dentist for your littles!

Theresa Weeks Dr. Hamada and her whole team are so wonderful! My daughter is not even close to being half way done, and she has had such major changes and improvements with having her braces. She had trained herself to smile with her mouth closed prior to getting them, and now she is much more confident and smiles constantly and brightly with them on! The entire process from consult, payment plans, visits is all pretty seamless. The office is also very easy to get ahold of when needed. Dr. Hamada has an incredible bedside manner and makes my daughter feel comfortable every step of the way. We are loving her journey so far!

AMANDA DIETSCH Would give zero stars if possible due to the manner in which they handled getting my sons retainer to him at first they demanded we pay for it out of pocket then they finally told him it had already been paid for, after getting scans for it he was unable to pick it up due to their Monday-Thursday schedule only, college & numerous holidays the Destrehan location is closed for, he was told he would need to be re-scanned for a new retainer even though he had a permanent one in place for $260 when he questioned where his already paid for retainer was, he was informed after 6 months they threw away his $260 retainer vs mailing it to the address on file (the one they bill) or to his dentist’s office. I initially recommended this office but I am disgusted w how they handled this situation & when asked to please show me where in the contract we signed it states they throw away your retainer vs mailing it at 6 months I have yet to receive a response!

Mitchell Goyne I really like Dr. Collins and his staff, very friendly. In my experience they try to make you as comfortable, and painless as can be expected from a visit to the Dentist. They do good work.

He has a conservative approach to dentistry which I like. He suggested to address the important things first and then discuss long term cosmetic restoration. C. E. I highly recommend Dr. Micky (Michael) Gallagher. In the past, Dr. Gallagher did artistry to resolve a chipped front tooth I had. It has held up well, thank God. He also did the same for one of my children, who is on the spectrum. Dr. Gallagher will not recommend work that isnt necessary and really showed that in my case. Other dentists said I would have to have a crown and wanted well over $1,000. He did a 3D mold of my tooth and perfect artistry to make it look like the other. His dental hygienists do a great job at cleanings and I only have great things to say. Dr. Gallagher is kind, compassionate, patient, honest, trustworthy, caring, and thorough, as are the others he works with. Their office staff are also wonderful and very helpful. If you dont have insurance or if they dont accept yours, ask about their Loyalty Plan/ Program. They all truly go above and beyond for patient satisfaction. You wont be disappointed. God Bless.

Kimberly Viera This is probably the worst experience Ive ever had with a doctor. I went in with my boyfriend because he has been having constant headaches and a strange ringing in his ears. Dr Sudha Mardia told us that there was nothing wrong with him, that all he needed was ears drops because he had a lot of wax in his ears. Every time I wanted to explain to her that theres a history of high blood pressure she would just cut me off. I dont know where she got her degree from because she obviously doesnt care about her patients and has poor bedside manners.

Brandy If there is only one doctor in this building Dr Sudha Mardia, that is a general practitioner I dont recommend anyone come here. The doctor constantly cuts you off when youre trying to explain the problem. She has no idea how to talk to people or LISTEN FIRST. She thinks she knows what the insurance is going to pay and not pay, I have two insurances....she blew me off twice now. I have been suffering with a neck problem for over a year and not just because my "neck hurts." Shes a GP shes not qualified to diagnose me. I needed a referral to a NECK AND BACK Dr. I want treatment! Please dont come here if you have a real problem, you will get no help. She doesnt understand how medicine works or how Insurance works I dont know how this woman is a doctor.

Corey L After having a bad experience with Daughters of Charity, I took it upon myself to find a doctor one parish over. This place is amazing! Such a clean and fresh atmosphere. The staff here are super friendly and knowledgeable. The Doctor went above and beyond my expectations. I actually felt like I was more than just a patient number on a chart. Jennifer Lynn I had 2 root canals and crowns done here in July of 2015. A year later I went for a cleaning at Exceptional dental in Mid City and they noticed that my crowns were not placed right and they were too apart from my gum line this was eventually going to cause me to get tooth decay. I did tell this office witch they asked me to come back to fix it. I didn’t go back because they failed to do them both right not just one but both. I paid this office $3,964.00 for this procedure because at the time I had no insurance. In 2017 I went to Dr. Celino at Fleur De Lis Dental in Metairie to get my whiting and Invisalign done and they told me that I needed to get that fixed. I had insurance at the time but insurance companies do not cover the cost for crowns that are less than 5 years old. So, I didn’t want to spend all that money all over again. Crowns are about $1,200 a peace. Long story short.. One of my crowns broke before the 4th year witch I had to pay to get fixed. And a few months later I got the other one fixed before waiting for it to break off. It cost me $2,300.00 out of pocket again because insurance won’t cover it being that they had not made 5 years. I’m sharing this because I paid a lot of money out of pocket to get the work they messed up fixed. Rather than them offering to reimburse me some of the crown cost at the time to find a place and get it fixed right away they offer for me to go back when they had already messed up 2. Was I suppose to go back to the place that didn’t get it done the first time? I think not. Yes, they are very nice people and they work in the best of their ability but for mayor procedures I do not recommend them.

The dentist himself was really nice & knowledgeable, but the woman in the front office was the RUDEST human being ever…she knows more about your insurance than you do apparently. Even though she is dead wrong.. be prepared to argue with her at 7:30 in the morning :))

He is always up to date on the latest techniques and technology for overall health for your teeth and gums. His staff is very professional, friendly and will do everything to make sure your visit is a pleasant one. His wife, Celeste, takes care of running the office and so much more. She treats you like you are the most important patient of the day, and she is always there with a smile.

Rita Lirette Dr. Buddy is the best! I had to get a tooth pulled and naturally had a bit of anxiety from the shots but was reassured and made to feel super comfortable. He even asked if it was numb enough and did I need more medicine. Very thorough! All in all I didnt feel any pain from any of it and its the next day and its not bothering me at all. Super friendly and helpful staff all around. 10/10 would recommend!!!!
