Heather Hellmers Canceled by h20 last minute and needed to get in ASAP. Wish I would have waited. Showed a picture of what I wanted a beautiful red and blonde and I only got blonde. Cut was wrong too. The only reason I got any red was the color specialist told her to put red after i asked repeatedly. That took 4 hours. Had to go back to have the owner fix my hair. When I asked why they let me leave knowing it was wrong she said everything takes two trips to get it right even constitution workers. Wanted to leave my length and left at least 6 inches cut off. Cant recommend!

John B Always a great experience at Salon Couvie! The whole staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Ive been coming here for 4 years, Ive gotten haircuts from both Rachel and Toni. They both do an excellent job, are very personable. I sit in their chair have great conversations, and 30 min later I walk out with a perfect cut! They always offer me a water or drink when I arrive, and the scalp massage during the shampooing is so relaxing! All the staff wears masks now and follows covid precautions. I feel very safe & comfortable. Fantastic experience, couldnt ask for anything more!

She was kind, professional, knowledgeable, and patient as I asked a lot of questions about my skin. After two weeks following Jenaes instruction, my skin is looking so much better. Dominique Smith Tempest was excellent! From the moment I entered the room she made me feel at ease. I don’t get a lot of facials and she was very informative about what to do and what not to do when it comes to my skin care routine. The conversation we had during the facial was refreshing. It felt like I was talking to one of my sisters. My face felt amazing during and after the facial. My skin was glowing by the end. She was so gentle with her hands. Jessica Thorne My hairdresser got upset when I mentioned needing extra services, saying she had planned for something else. I apologized and offered to stick to her original plan, but she still refused to see me. I offered to pay anyway, but my husband thinks I shouldnt since I was willing to go with her initial plan. Now she wants payment for the appointment. What should I do?

Emily Mathews HORRIBLE I never write bad reviews so take it from me DONT COME HERE! All I wanted was a simple root touch up and JESSICA somehow missed most of my roots and I had these weird dye zebra stripes in my hair. All my friends at work asked if I did my hair myself, so I texted her to see if she could fix it and she said there was nothing she could do about that, so I had to pay someone else to fix it a few days later on top of the 180 PLUS 20% tip I gave her. My hair also didn’t feel soft like it usually does after I get it done either. Overall this is the worst most unprofessional salon I have been to. BEWARE!

Lyndra Robinson Very friendly...they take walk-ins. Ask before hand about payment options for any discounts. They are very patient with their work and do a awesome technique with their nails. I like simple art but they really do great designs... just ask.

Sameera B I have been a customer since 2019 and have always enjoyed my service every time. They recently converted me to gel x nails and I’m never looking back. My last set lasted me from early August up until now in mid October and I could have lasted longer if I didn’t want to change my set. Jen and her sisters are the best and always make me feel welcome and not guilty for coming late or changing my appointment lol. I already recommend them to my friends through word of mouth and they always come back as well. Best in the city!

Zahri Jackson Short almond gel x nails in the color funny bunny. I also got a little water design on my ring finger. I absolutely love how they came out! The employees truly care about their work. They take their time and make sure every part of their work is FLAWLESS. I will be back!

Chavon Jacques Like me first start by saying when I saw a sign that said $35 Brazilian wax I was a bit skeptical cause I haven’t seen a price that affordable since before Covid. But when I walked into the salon I was set at eased. The salon is very welcoming and my stylist was Kat. She was already there and ready when I arrived for my appointment. Let me say Kat is AMAZING. Probably the least painful wax job I’ve had. She was friendly and very informative. Definitely found my new wax and lash salon!!!!

Chandini Reddi Mary cut my hair today at the Metairie location and she did a phenomenal job! She was friendly, professional, and efficient. I brought in a photo to show her of the haircut I wanted and she went above and beyond giving me a haircut even better than the photo I showed her. My hair feels so healthy and shiny and she did a fantastic job blow drying it. I cant stop touching it or taking pictures, I feel beautiful! I will definitely be going back to Mary for my haircuts in the future and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a haircut that makes them feel confident and beautiful.

Roi-Lynne Hulin I needed my nails done by someone else while my regular lady recovers from rotator cuff surgery. I called and made an appointment for 5. They had quite a few customers in front of me so I wasnt seen right away but she worked me in and I was very pleased with my results. I would recommend making an appointment even though she does walk-ins. (This type is ombre nails with stardust)

Vy Nguyen I’m glad that I decided to take lash extensions course by Cindy Dao. I taught myself with the basic skills for the past few months but I wasn’t ready to work on any clients until I met Cindy. She’s a sweet lady and willing to train me with all her knowledges. I enjoyed learning and she helped me working on my first live model, turned out the best Volume Set I’ve ever done. I’m a certified lash artist and confident with my lash services now. Thank you Cindy! And I got my lashs done by her, I freaking love em!

Breanna Mclemore Taking the lash extension course with Cindy was the best decision ever! 2 days may not seem like enough days to learn everything but it is when you have someone great like Cindy teaching you! Cindy was very patient, professional and also very kind! The kit comes with everything you need to start out with, and the handbook that she gives you to use is honestly so helpful! Also, Don’t be afraid to ask questions! If you’re thinking about taking a lash course, definitely do it with Cindy!

Barat C I cannot say enough about Sun! I have NEVER had a haircut like I did today. He is a master of the trade. I asked him what he felt would look best. He took time before he washed my hair (which was a great experience as well) to look at my hair and face and discuss options. It was great! I love the haircut and have already scheduled my next appointment! I HIGHLY recommend Sun!

Rebecca listened to my requests used just the perfect amount of lightness and it looks so natural--like Ive been to the beach! The keratin is probably the best job Ive had. Maria really took the time to smooth it perfectly, and now it takes no time to style! I have already gotten lots of compliments!

Carrie Bartlett I have been going here for years!! All of the staff are like family. I recently transitioned from every 4 week color/ highlights to all white. It was personally a huge step for me. Rebecca and Sun really did an amazing job. The downside is that I am not going in every 4 weeks!

Serenity Cunningham the lady that did my nails didn’t push my cuticles back. she didn’t cut my nails. she was very rude and i will not go back there. it was horrible she told my aunt that the length of my nails wouldn’t bother the cost but she cut them so short and it’s not what i wanted. i will not go back they. were horrible for my first time. and she got nail polish all over my fingers. and didn’t clean it up. and she snatched my phone out my hand. like i said she was very rude will not go back there.

Terri Smith Tullier This is a buried treasure salon off of Williams in Kenner around West Esplanade. These girls are amazing. Very professional, kind and courteous!! A great experience! Many services offered here including skin service and they are very accommodating and reasonably priced! Do yourself a favor treat yourself!!!!!! You will not be disappointed!

yuh came here to get layers cut into my hair, janelis (i think thats how its spelt) is the lady who helped me today and love them!! i havent gotten layers in my hair or even gotten my hair done professionally in so many years because the haircuts ive had in the past always turned out bad or ended with my hair WAY shorter than i asked for. it was hard for me to finally gain the courage to trust someone to cut my hair but im so glad i did!! it came out exactly how i wanted, and i told my stylist that i didnt want to cut my overall length and she listened! i appreciate her so much for that and ill definitely be back! :)

Yelba Lobo First time going there, and I called ahead of time to ask if they took walk-ins. The answer is no, but they did have an opening in which I took it. Most stylists speak English and Spanish. My stylish spoke very little English, but I communicated with her in spanish. I came in not knowing what style I wanted since my hair was halfway down my back, but I asked for something shorter and for her to suggest a cut. She suggested a butterfly haircut, which is currently popular, and it came out extremely nice!!! Unfortunately, my stylist no longer works there, but I watched the other stylists with their clients, and they all did a great job. The salon is very clean and well kept. There was a variety of products near the front that were very appealing. They do offer different services, but I didnt think to ask for a pricing menu/guide. I had a wash, cut, and blow dry, which cost less than what i expected. Overall, I had a great service and will definitely return!
