Maddie Martin Well i booked an appointment for a manicure and fullset at 10am so that whomever did my nails would not rush on them. Upon arriving, i was sat immediately which was great. But once i started telling my nail tech what I was wanting to get done he kept telling me that it couldnt be done because i did not want to add tips on my nails and my nails were too small and short. I was showing him designs on nails that were small and short, showing what i wanted was possible. I work in a restaurant kitchen, so long nails were not an option. Even if it would not look as good as it would on longer nails, it was what i wanted for my birthday, period. Then he took out his phone and pulled up a picture of what he could do. It wasnt ugly, but again, it wasnt what i wanted. While i feel like my nails could have been done a TAD bit better, i like them for what he was "able to do".. back to what i booked my appointment for, i was never given a manicure- which is what i assumed was when you soak your hands, remove cuticles, massage hands with lotion etc etc.. maybe i was wrong and dont know what a manicure is, but i was very disappointed. Overall, beautiful salon a d staff were very attentive to the people who continued to come in the salon for services!!!!

Nancy M They do a great job. Even made my 70 year old fingernails look good! The salon is modern and chic with a light and airy feel. Got a same day appointment with no problem. No wait when I arrived. Recommend.

Kylie Wahinehookae I have been having a really hard time finding someone in the BR area that knows how to thread well. I typically have to drive to NOLA to get it done. I visited Mawi and was EXTREMELY impressed by how gentle she is and precise she is while threading. She educated me about eyebrow tinting and selected the perfect color blend for my complexion and hair. I will be retuning! *attached is a photo of my eyebrows immediately after eyebrow threading and tint.

Jakayla Caleb Hi, you guys! So I tried Mawi Beauty Salon off O’Neal & when I can say I’ll be back.., I WILL BE BACK. It’s quiet and vibes are awesome. Let me not forget the wait time is short. The owner is very sweet and she explains everything she is doing and the benefits of it. She also gives helpful tips on how to get your skin clear. I would 10/10 recommend.

Heather Dillon Loved the place. It was gorgeous! Tin did very well on my nails. The paint job isnt perfect and I have a several spots that are slightly messy. They also don’t have many options for color. But overall my nails look quite decent and pretty! the staff was friendly and the price was awesome. I recommend!

Jeremy Gautreau This is a great place to get a hair cut. I called in advance and was set up with an appointment right after lunch. As soon as I walked in the door I was met with a friendly face who called me by my name as if Ive met the young lady before. My stylist knew What a ball-fade was and made suggestions to make me look better. All in all the place is supper clean and the staff and patrons are just hometown friendly. If you want a good place to get your hair cut with a great southern hospitality then this is the place to go. Oh yea they are pet friendly as I was met at the door with a bark from an adorable toy poodle a customer brought in.

Joyce Swafford Hinz The people here are really sweet. I donate my hair every 4 years and the last 2 times I have gone here. They do a great job at sectioning off the hair before they cut it so that its easier to donate. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an awesome place to get your hair done at.

Shes a talented and meticulous artist. She guides you through the whole process and offers useful tips for maintaining your eyebrows during the healing period. I couldnt be happier with the results!

Sarah Kate Tina was amazing! Very professional staff and I felt like it was a real spa experience. I showed her a couple pictures for inspiration and she did exactly what I was asking. I had never tried Gel X before but she was very informative on the process and I am so pleased with my nails.

Dawn Anderson I got highlights and my hair is fried ,breaking off and feels like mush my hair is very over processed my color is 4 different colors I’m very disappointed my hair has always been healthy the cut i received is good called talked to front desk was told Corey will call me back and to this day hasn’t even tried to call me sad when you mess someone hair up and can’t call them back! I’ll be seeing my next steps now This picture is four weeks after and I have tiger stripes and how fried it still is

Taleta Wesley I went in for a consultation and my appointment was scheduled for the next day. I arrived 20 minutes early and she was already ready for me. My hair was done in record time. The atmosphere was chill and welcoming for all. I will return.

Tangela Bedford While I did not get any services here, I would gladly revisit to get services at another time. The make up artist was there when I came in. I was from out of town and wanted braids. While they were unable to accommodate me the make up artist was very patient in explaining things to me and how their salon worked. I would gladly patronize them again and send people who come here to visit. Update: These 5 stars were well deserved! I went back to get services on my wedding day and I was BEYOND satisfied. The customer service is amazing for a salon, and I just felt cared for. Thanks you very much!!!

Kristin Dykes Great place. This is the 3rd time my daughter has been serviced. Easy to book, no long wait time, just easy to deal with. Oh and a good wash is included in the price. Lastly , my daughter will definitely be a regular client for Ms. Yanni. Thank you again. Great salon!
