For some reason I wasn’t able to walk out with them that day but they offered to ship them for free to my home! All this time later, they are still my favorite pair of earrings and I get compliments on them regularly.

Beautiful selection of authentic stones and sterling silver with quality craftsmanship, they even have all shades of gold. As a collector I would definitely recommend!! the people there are so nice and will help you find whatever you need :)

I walked away with about 6 rings, which they had sized for me and shipped back. They’re are true gems of the city and should be visited!!

This was my be all end all favourite spot to browse and purchase gems/supplies for my chainmail and wire wrapping work. The staff is stellar, very knowledgeable and sweet. Above and beyond helpful and Ive always had such wonderful interactions. Any friends who love gems/ working with gemstones or materials they carry get dragged off or sent over to them as its just perfect. The shop may be tiny but Im surprised it doesnt just burst open one day and the loot of a thousand dragons come pouring out the doors. Youll not be sorry and want to leave with everything you see just stopping in and browsing. Make sure youve adequately prepared for the epic shininess and reasonable pricing that makes you need a trailer to bring your purchases home :)

Me and my friends got custom rings that will give us the best memories of our trip. Lalo also made me the most beautiful necklace with my birthstone. I would recommend this shop to everyone visiting New Orleans. I wish I could give 10 stars.

A P: All of the jewelry inside was top notch and of high quality. Looks to be GIA certified pieces inside , and a watch collectors favorite in the back half, he’s a certified Franck Mueller dealer in Louisiana and Texas , he also carried vintage and current Rolex , Omega, IWC , Patek Phillipe , and Bruguet . I believe the plaque outside of his shop translates to that he is an honorary Italian consulate location too. Out of the requests of the signs around his shop I did not take any photos or videos. But it’s definitely worth a look.

The Bead Shop - New Orleans

S S: A young staff member working the front of the store was extremely rude to a Cajun French speaking customer with cultural-linguistic differences who had a simple, question about clases offered. I will never return due to this cold, insensitive behavior towards people of our culture. Didn’t even attempt eye contact and this person left feeling less than. Sorry to have witnessed this display of incompetence, there were other staff members with excellent social skills.
