5 /5 CEDAR HILL MX / Steve Hall: Im a 56 year old that has returned to College once again. The last time was 1986 - 1991 . I can honestly say that school has changed a bunch. I truly believe if it wasnt for the help I received from the admissions department with this school it wouldnt have happened. The truly amazing, wonderful and helpful people who work at this school went above and beyond to help me with every step of admissions and enrollment of classes was awesome. I seriously couldnt have done it without them. The teachers at least in all of my classes have been great also. I can say that the 3 semesters that I have had have been a great experience. Although no matter how great the school is still doesnt change the fact that everyday in class I get reminded just how dumb I have become through all my years . But the fact that everyday I leave every class each day a little smarter is a true testament of how good the teachers are. Highly recommend this school .

5 /5 Nicholle Sipe: Went to nursing school here. They were helpful getting my financial aid. Since I went back to school after 30, I had no idea what I was doing. My instructors were great. They answered my thousands of questions and encouraged me to keep going when I didnt think I could. Love this school and administration. They have a brand new campus too!!! State of the art equipment. You have to meet Stan!!

5 /5 Clyde Jones: Im a 45 year old whose now in school at NWLTC. Even though I dont know much about school these days I managed to find good hearted instructors & students. Its a great school for anyone thats looking to start a better life. Five thumbs up for my hometown School.

5 /5 DeWitt Booker: I graduated from here in 2012 in the Industrial Instrumentation program. The program that this college provided was hands-on and on a personal level as they only took 16 students per trimester, at that time. I had another choice at a facility in Waco, TX, that had more up-to-date equipment, bigger classrooms, and better facilities, but the classrooms did not have the same one-on-one feel as this college did. Being a corn breed fed east Tennessean my whole life, the transition was awkward, at first, but I was greeted with the same southern hospitality as if I was back at home. My hometown was nearly 700 miles away. I had no friends or family in this area. However, by the time I graduated, I had friends who were as close as family, many of which I still keep in contact with. The teachers/instructors were informative and knowledgeable. They really helped to shape me up for my field once I graduated. I now have a permanent position for a DOE facility at ORNL (Oak Ridge National Laboratory) as an I&C (Instrumentation & Controls) Technician, and I couldnt be happier. My classmates, aka The Technical Turtles, were awesome. We helped each other throughout the whole process and learned from each other. This one decision has led me to a career that has been fulfilling, rewarding, knowledgeable, and being financially stable for the last 12+ years. Dont second guess your future. Take that leap of faith. Go to Northwest Louisiana Technical College in Minden, LA, and apply.

5 /5 Freda Boiro: The education I have received here is amazing. The teacher/student ratio is small and you have well educated, friendly professors who dont mind explaining things to you. I will be graduating with my AAS degree in Business with a concentration in Healthcare. This is the best start to a new career, and Im in my forties. If you are younger and need a start before a major university, this is the perfect place.
