Ace Winters: My dad sent me a check from this credit union, and nobody will answer ANY of the phone lines to verify it in order for me to cash it. I might understand if it was just the fact that Im living out-of-state and they dont answer Colorado phone numbers like the check-cashing place has, but I still have my 318 number and they still arent picking up. Ive tried three different phone menu options and they ALL just ring for ten minutes and then hang up. Every single line has the same dial-menu, even the local branch numbers, and not a single one of them works. This is unacceptably terrible service. Update: they STILL arent answering the phones, and have now reported the check to my bank as fraudulent, meaning that I now have to repeat the entire mailing process again, which puts a huge crunch for time on my entire wedding. My father just had a heart attack and I was so happy to think that I gave the check to my new bank and they would take care of it so he would be able to recover in peace, which I now know was a false hope. I reached out to the email, and they told me to call the number. Absolutely useless.

sweet gal: I called for a quote on my vehicle. The lady said that none of the insurance companies they use will cover Hyundai cars anymore. I knew that wasnt true for all Hyundai cars. It only applies for models made during a certain time period. I went directly to Progressive and got a quote. I also called another local agency and got a quote for a different insurance company.

Paul: I went inside to open an account. I was second in line, and they had 5 or 6 total customers. When I was called to the counter, I told them I wanted to open an account. They told me how "incredibly busy" they were, and asked me to sit for a minute and they would be with me. after about 15 minutes, the lobby was completely empty, and I could hear the two employees yacking with each other. I waited about 10 minutes, and got up and asked my teller if I could use the rest room. She assured me that she was sorry it was taking so long and that she would be right with me. I came back and waited another 10 minutes while they continued to talk to each other about how "crazy" the day was. So, after waiting for almost 30 minutes while the employees jabbered with each other, and no other customers waiting, I decided to leave. I took a long lunch break to get this done today, wasted for nothing. Why would I want to bank with someone who would make me wait to take my money? Other than when I went to ask to use the bathroom, I was never even acknowledged. I completely understand why this branch is failing.
