Court Cronin Big Mike’s is the place to get BBQ in South Louisiana. Atmosphere was great when you walk in. It was our first time there and everyone was so friendly. You order at a counter and then the food is delivered to your table. The staff were very helpful when asking about items on the menu. I had the 1/2 rack ribs with mac’n cheese and garlic mashed potatoes. They ribs were tender with tons of flavor. They had the right about of sauce on them for me with a couple great sauces at the table to use. The mac’n cheese and mashed potatoes were amazing. My friend had a brisket sandwich that he really enjoyed. There is a nice bar and plenty of seating inside. There is also a large patio as well. Great place, great food and great service. Alan Green Great staff and “Off the Hook” manager. Went in with a party of 20+ at about 20 minutes before closing time and they welcomed us in with smiles on their faces instead of turning us around. Will make this a must stop to eat every time in Thibodaux. The food being great was a bonus.

bumbommbie We had an amazing time here at Ginas. Our food was delicious and fresh. For an appetizer we had onion rings and a cup of crab corn soup. The onion rings are really thin and crispy , which is so delicious! The cup of soup was a bit cheesy. For the meal I had a shrimp poboy and a piece of my moms catfish! ( How could I not ! Its fresh Louisiana catfish ) Absolutely DELICIOUS! The shrimp on my poboy and the fish gave me a very similar taste to how the fried shrimp and fish used to taste like at politz. I was so happy about that. We were told by the waitress at politz that they no longer serve Louisiana catfish. Which was really sad to hear , and taste. With this visit at Ginas at the Legion I now no longer have to worry about what place to go to get some good ole Louisiana seafood when Im back in town. When I was younger Gina used to run a snowball stand that us all in St. Charles Community would support. It was great to continue to support her restaurant. Thank you Gina for all of your great dishes and memories that came along with them.

Mary Blanchard Lins is probably one of my favorite restaurants to go to! Ths atmosphere is incredible and the waitresses are just so sweet and kind! The food is also very good. They have so many options. My favorite would be the chicken on the stick!

muwiggle1 Check this place out!!! I didn’t realize they were here nor had the selection they did. They have hard to find tackle plus a great selection of local makers. To the best of my knowledge they are the only live bait game in town with shiners. They also have food which I haven’t had the chance to try yet but based on the number of people stopping for lunch it must be good.

Toby Hatch I took my Son and his girlfriend to eat there for lunch and we enjoyed it! We shared the large fajitas plate and had queso and chips. The food was delivered fast and hot to the table. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly.

The restaurant was quite busy on a Sunday afternoon but attentiveness and food were perfection as we sat at the bar enjoying the atmosphere and modern aesthetic. From the crafty cocktails, to the duck empanada appetizer and Molcajete entree for 2 (plus to go box/bowl), we thoroughly enjoyed our entire meal and can’t wait to try more!
