5 /5 Jamie Griffin: First time visit. Great lil friendly hometown restaurant since 1963. I ordered the catfish platter. Really good and plenty of fish to take home. Loved the bread that was served. Great salad and fries as well. Great atmosphere and friendly customer service. I will return soon!

5 /5 GG: Great local place with some amazing cooking. Like walking into someones house and getting served a full meal everything I had was bussin! I had the Oyster Po Boy and it was so flavorful and fresh. All the sides and soups were packed with flavor. Definitely want to go back if Im in the area again.

5 /5 Caitlyn Rhodes: We went to Abears Cafe and enjoyed some live music on a Friday. Food and service were both good. Enjoyed the shrimp poboy, and my husband liked their fried oysters. Update: came back and tried the roast beef. It was pretty good too!

5 /5 Mark C: awesome experience for some authentic cajun cuisine. a group of us showed up at 6pm on a Friday - they had live music and the place was busy. felt like we were eating in somebodys living room, lots of locals who clearly frequent the place. food was great, i had the chicken & sausage gumbo which was delicious. they have won the award for best local gumbo something like 7 years in a row. server was funny and helpful.
