2 /5 Benny Franklin: I’ve visited this particular DQ many times. It’s never great, but today was particularly filthy (trash on the ground, food debris lining the wall all around, tables were filthy and not a single employee cleaning them after customers).
After ordering, I went to wash my hands and the men’s bathroom was bone dry on soap. It was not low and sputtering remnants, but literally nothing was left. I brought this to the attention of the employees, noting that there were multiple males working, including the cook. This means that they either work an entire shift without using the restroom once, or they don’t wash their hands in the bathroom after using it… you guess which… One male employee gave me a look like “you got me” after bringing this up. After that, I really paid attention and not only is the restaurant not being ran well, but it’s only a matter of time before people get sick. The ice cream machine is having issues and spitting ice cream everywhere, employees have their headphones in and were obviously bickering with each other, some appeared to have friends showing up to hang out in the outside dining area while not taking orders.
I won’t be bringing my family here again; it’s not worth the risk. When the owner is away, the mice will play… without decent management, that is.
