DiMartinos Muffulettas - Covington (LA)

5 /5 Dave H: This is my first time, and we were so tired, that we chose take-out and went back to the Airbnb. That being said, the greeter was friendly, the restaurant atmosphere is very nice, ample parking, and the Muffuletta, soup and potato salad was delicious. You have to get the mushrooms!!! Worth the extra. Before we leave the area, we definitely will return for dine-in.

3 /5 P N: Update: great dinner. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana. It came with a great salad. The eggplant was delicious. The dinner grilled garlic chicken was also delicious. My first time here, I ordered the chicken parm sandwich. I was expecting 1 piece of chicken pounded flat and breaded. It was all cut up on the bread with very little cheese. Not impressed.

1 /5 Mark Ford: Walked in at 11:00am ordered takeout. Sat at the bar waiting for my order thinking I’ll have something to drink. I was completely ignored. I asked if anyone is tending bar to get served. I overheard the hostess wishing she was retired. And wanting it to be 1:00 . I assume she wanted to go home before she ever got started. Beautiful place but hostess stunts the ambiance. Prices are very high for the place as a whole. This place needs some management leadership.

3 /5 Staci Henderson: When we arrived, we were asked how many in our party. There were 4 of us. The person grabbed some menus and not saying a word to us walked away. Apparently, we were supposed to follow. They put us in a booth. One member in our party cannot sit in a booth due to a handicap. We asked if we could have a table instead. The host gathered up our menus and literally slung them down on a table and walked off. The food was ok. The spaghetti was bland and bitter. I thought it was overpriced for what it was. I ordered the veal and the meat was very good and very tender. The service was great, except for the host at the door. Im sure well be back. Id like to try some other items on the menu.
