4 /5 Tonya Bailes: I’m a huge fan of chorizo. When I heard they had chorizoqueso dip, I was all in. I am as big a fan of queso as I am chorizo. When it got to the table I got a chip and dipped it in the hot dip. The first bite was great. It’s bursting with robust flavor that the palette welcomes with excitement. After the first bite that was everything I imagined it would be, I was gravely disappointed. I informed the waitress the dip had turned hard. She said it was brown and most people liked cheese that was Brown. If that’s all it was, I would’ve been fine. It turned into rubber. I had to pierce it with my fork and scrape it out to put it on my chip. Trying to eat it was a joke. I chewed forever and still felt like I was gonna choke when I swallowed the queso. I told the waitress it was like rubber. This is an easy fix. Either add more to the skillet so it’s not so thin, or put it in a smaller skillet. That is the only complaint I had. Everything else was good. I really wanted to give it 5 stars but the queso was a bust. I will update if I go back and they change the way the dip is served. I will go back I will just steer clear of the dip until or if it changes.
