4 /5 Victoria S: Honestly, it was the high rating on Google Maps that inspired us to visit this restaurant. Having traveled to many Mediterranean countries, I was expecting a familiar taste.
The lentil soup was good, reminiscent of the Turkish version. Unfortunately, they didnt serve a lemon wedge with it, as expected.
We ordered a lamb salad, lamb chops. The meat was perfectly cooked, soft and tender. The salad also included fresh vegetables. It was surprising that although the dishes on the menu were different, they differed only in the size of the meat pieces and the presence of puree.
I have no complaints about the fresh juices at all – I highly recommend the mango and guava.
As for the coffee and baklava, our expectations were also disappointed. We clarified with the waiter beforehand that Turkish coffee is espresso served with cold water. Unfortunately, there was no water, and the coffee had cardamom added, suggesting it wasnt Turkish coffee, but Lebanese coffee, or the restaurant was skimping on the water. And the baklava—unfortunately, there wasnt a drop of honey, just sugar syrup.
Overall, the food in the restaurant is delicious; youll be full for the mid-range price. But dont expect whats on the menu.
