5 /5 Jill Shoemaker: First time here and I was a little worried it would not be great. Don’t judge a book by its cover. My sister and I ordered the burger and french fries and it was delicious. It was a real hamburger Pattie and it was sooo good !

5 /5 Sophia G: Home of the best burger in West Baton Rouge!! River Queen’s Ida burger is so incredibly delicious. I also recommend the onion rings and their malts and shakes. My go-to is a cherry malt. Service is always great too. I love this place.

5 /5 Brian Rodgers: Passing through from Texas to Alabama and traffic was stopped on the Mississippi River bridge so we decided to get off and eat while traffic cleared. Luckily we found this place. Outside seating so our dog could join us. But then the great friendly service we received for us excited for the food. This may be the road weirdness talking but this burger was amazing. Big, juicy the right amount of toppings. And the crinkle cut fries were perfectly fried and crisp held onto the ketchup like it was supposed to do. Very happy we got this lucky. We will be stopping again on our next time through.

3 /5 H. Kalesha (Ms. H): Usually the food is satisfactory across the board, however, yesterday was OFF!! I the fish dinner, fish fried extra crispy, and the side salad on the side with ranch dressing. When my name was called to pick up the plate from the window, I noticed that there wasn’t a separate container for the salad as I requested. When I asked about the salad on the side, I was told that the salad IS on the side of the plate. I explained that I wanted the salad in a separate container because I didn’t want the heat to wilt the lettuce when reheating, as it wouldn’t be eaten in one sitting. Once I made it home and started eating, I noticed that the fries were burnt and the fish was soft, obviously there was a mix up in which foods I wanted crispy. Then while eating the salad, I chewed something that was not salad! I immediately spit it out. After searching through the mess, I discovered an object that I would describe as a “bread twist tie”. By this time the restaurant had closed so I called first thing this morning. Clearly there are 2 different shifts and no one on the day shift would take the complaint and I was instructed to call back when the evening shift comes back on duty.

5 /5 Paul Tyler,D.C.: 100 years at this location in a small town. The burgers and fries are excellent. Especially at $9.00. Enjoy this blast from the past. The only thing miss,IMO, is old time music .
